If a gay person saved your or one of your familys lives, would they still be a evil person? or would it be better for you or your family member to die than be saved by such a person?
I ask after reading the remarks of an Imam in the Muslim religion about gay people-is it like Jehovahs witnesses whereby you are not allowed to have blood transfusions,etc?

A trend that has grown in recent years is that for one to be a Christian, then you MUST support the things that this country does. Why is it that some Christians believe that the United States is this special country that deserves special blessings from God? Why is it that if I disagree with the president, then people believe that I couldn't possibly be a Christian? It's silly to say that God put all the leaders in power because then, people will have to deal with the fact that many Christians HATE Clinton and still believe that Sadam deserved to die. I simply do not get it. What in the world does being patriotic have to do with being a Christian? Why do people get outraged when people want to rewrite the pledge or remove the flag from a church? Explain that one for me.

According to the famous creationist scientist Em Adjineri, if the Big Bang never happened then evolution is false, and it's obvious that the big bang never happened.

Evolutionarians believe that the entire universe came from a giant explosion, which somehow eventually produced life. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard!

We've all seen explosions in the movies and one thing is obvious. Explosions do not create things, they destroy them. So how could an explosion have created the universe if explosions destroy things?

How do the Big Bang-loutionarians explain the fact that the universe isn't shaped like a giant mushroom cloud? The Big Bang must have been a much more powerful than a nuclear explosion, which produces a mushroom cloud. Therefore, the Big Bang should have produced a universe in the shape of a giant mushroom cloud.

All these "facts" prove that the Big Bang never happened so evolution must be false. How do you explain this, evolutioholics?

ok. in high school, my now boyfriend and i had completly different groups of friends. i was a rich little party girl and he played pokemon or something. anyways, we have been together for three years and are very happy together. i am wiccan and he is atheist. he now wants to have supper (TONIGHT!! AHH) with his best friend from high school and his current girlfriend, Margret. they are both die hard born again christian fundies! and im scared! like i have no clue what to say or do if they start talking about religion (which im positve they will) while we're eating. what should i do in the situation that they do?? thanks

Some of you claim that if the innocent are aborted, then they go straight to heaven. So, abortion would be a GOOD thing in that case.
However, you also claim that people who have never heard of (or never had the opportunity) to hear about jesus, go straight to hell. They don't pass GO, they don't collect $200.00.
So, which one is it? Foetuses certainly cannot have heard about him so if they're aborted they go straight to hell.
OR, if they go to heaven, then certainly, the people who have never heard the word go to heaven too. Right?
I mean you can't have it both ways can you? And if the latter is true, then the best course of action would simply be to keep quiet and not tell ANYONE about Jesus and all the rest of the mythological trappings, thereby ensuring that everyone would go to heaven.
Right?
(Of course, this is all patent nonsense, heaven and hell are myths, no more real that Oz or Narnia. This whole religion thing is designed to do this; separate fools from their money)

the guys that come and install a home entertainment system. They come tommorrow and will be here for a good 3 hours as they are putting all the wires behind the walls and hooking everything up Then they give a 20 minute presentation on how eveyrthing works. I am paying good money for the install, but do I still tip the two guys?

Is there a scripture that can back that up? As far as I've been told, tongues are a gift (A GIFT). Not everyone has the same spiritual gifts therefore everyone is not going to speak in tongues. Am I right?
