For lots of reasons they did not work out...but he and I had become friends again and sayed friends for a while after there break up... after a while he and I started having problems and then we went our ways...I havent seen or talked to him in over 10 years....Do i suddenly now care about him? if so what do i do? First off, here's a link to the passage:
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20corinthians%207;&version=50;

I've noticed a recurring theme of 'body and spirit' throughout the passage: in vs. 34, and with vs. 3=spirit & vs. 4=body when talking about the marriage relationship. Looking at the context, chapter 6 just finished talking about glorifying God in body and in spirit, and I think that passage is very deeply connected with this one.

Anyhow, my question is, do you think that the 'burn with passion' (in vs. 9) is speaking of just physical lust or possibly emotional/relational lust as well?

Here's a link to the definition of the original Greek word used:
http://cf.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Strongs=G4448&Version=kjv

It just means 'burn.' I take that to imply something out of control, something that is being consumed by the out-of-control process. Nothing necessarily implies a solely physical lack of control. What are your thoughts on this?

What is a soul, and why do most religious people think only they have it? Many christians Ive talked to do not believe lower species to have souls. They even refuse to believe humans are animals. If we were to believe we have a soul, then why cant animals, and possibly plants. They live as well. I think it is arrogance concerning intelligence and/or self awareness. But then again, whose to say who or what is self aware? Tell me what you think.

I don't really enjoy life anymore. It's really a long story. If only you could see how I went through time, you would imagine, how sad I am. I think I am a victim of "Anxiety & Depression".

The story takes a turn when I migrated to a "white" country for settling purposes. Unfortunately, it didn't bring a change in my "sad" life. It made it worse! I try to survive somehow. At the moment, I work and maybe one day, but it's the people who dislike a person from a different race. These "white" people say they aren't "racists", then, what the hell are they and why do they always hurt the other race? For example, at work, they see me a silent and sad boy, because I am and it's none of their business. So, one day, after a few months, I decided to tell one point, that, "My parents live in a different country and have no one here". The person I was talking to replies, "My parents live in a different city". How lame was that? Was that ******** showing me, that it doesn't matter? Racist ****?

Because presently, i am a teenager and a goody two shoes. I do nothing bad. And I'm fine with that it's a very unstressful life, but everybody seems to act like they had a wild adolescence... So I'm thinking there's gotta be other folks out there who had a mundane high school experience, right? :)

just quoting what the 7th answerer answered in this question (most probably a Bible-fundie):
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ApoDuBMOdvjuqhJRYMe1en7ty6IX?qid=20070809205342AAKp0Fx&show=7#profile-info-qUyLHDr4aa

here's the exact words that answerer said: "...it is amazing that a catholic would dare to say he or she is a Christian."

I'm just wondering, do Bible-fundies have knowledge of history?

Why are they so ashamed of the reality of their faith ?

Christians should be honest to themselves and admit the Trinity is what it is.

The will of God is monotheistic but the Trinity is polytheistic.

Polytheism is having three seperate entities with three seperate wills.
