Take careful note of what the scriptures say.
do not blindly believe traditional teachings from the major religions...just because these thengs have been taught for a long time...Many times they are not supported by Bible scripture.
Example. Catholics claim Jesus is god himself come to the earth. If this were true, why would Jesus say this.
(John 5:19) Therefore, in answer, Jesus went on to say to them: “Most truly I say to YOU, The Son cannot do a single thing of his own initiative, but only what he beholds the Father doing. For whatever things that One does, these things the Son also does in like manner.
There are many other scriptures stating that Jesus is lesser than his Father in heaven.

Read the Bible and ask the Author (Holy Spirit) to explain it to you. Find a church where Christ is exalted.
It's hard to grow here but you know God can use anything to reach a man to repent and walk in Christ.
