I mean I understand of being proud of who you are. If it comes up in a conversation or something I have no qualms of stating what I am all about in that dept. But... I have never really gotten the point of the need to run about saying who one likes to sleep with.

I'm a loner/outsider. I'm a student, so I'm constantly around people. I don't like to talk, and would rather go to class and do my work without being bothered, but it seems I can't get through one day without someone trying to make conversation with me. For instance, I'll be on break, reading by myself, and someone starts talking to me (someone who has seen me around). I just want to finish my work in peace. I'd like to go back to my apartment and study, but all the stuff I need to do research on is on campus. Or I'll be at a bar/cafe/lounge, and someone will come up to me, ramdomly, and start making conversation, while I sit there, frustrated, and wanting to walk away. It's not that I hate people, but I like peace, quiet, and I really don't care about what people have to say about the weather and sports and television and I hate being hit on...

What can I do to avoid conversation without appearing rude and arrogant?

Firstly, Muslims in India were theoretically all supposed to leave India in 1947 when partition took place. They stayed in India, knowing very well that they would be living in a Hindu majority country and one which was to be a western styled secular democracy with political, social and economic freedoms for its citizens.

So why, then, do they feel they have a right to issue fatwas, pass religious death sentences and take the law into the their own hands. When India already has its own established legal constitution which each and every Indian (irrespective of religion) is subject to, who the hell gives them the right to undermine the Indian constitution and pass death sentences and undertake what they perceive to be their own perverted view of Justice???

Do You Agree That The Indian Government Should Promulgate Official and Formal Legislation, Making It A Crime For Any Imam And Any Muslim Organisation To Issue Fatwas???

Anyone found guilty of this, should be penalised.

Wikipedia's assertions are conflicting with outside sources. It states that Mexico, Australia, and Germany do not have official languages. However, I have found at least three sources for each that Spanish, English, and German are the existing official languages there, respectively. Can someone more informed than I please clarify?

I'm currently on an active job hunt. It's embarrassing for me to be between jobs but it was a necessary decision. I left under my own terms and without threat of being fired. What's the best thing to tell well-intentioned friends or neighbors who ask about how work is going? I haven't been advertising that I left my old job. Thanks for your suggestions.

And then they also get upset if hey question someone elses aith and they dont like it coming from a christian. What makes them so special. And does this upset anyone else too. Geez, i have never had a serious boyfriend at 16 but yesterday my friends little bro who is goin into 7th grade told us about all his friends who have all had sex with this girl and licked her up and down. So Im russian and I speak fluent russian...for now. I can read but with great difficulty...and grammer....dont even ask. When I talk to my parents I can tell that I choose english words over russian ones and I need a way/tips on how to enchance my russian skills and keep my language alive. I know reading more is one, but Im so damn lazy and I also listen to some, select few russian bands.

Atheist next time you get really sick, which you will for sure guaranteed! Ask yourself why, then turn to him he will heal you inshAllah but if he does not, then when you lay on your back, your side or stand up will you walk away again thinking that was you and your doctors that healed you with along side the lizard you came from where did he go to help. Are you to bring along side all your partners and think your going to be averted? Surely you’re being watched much closer by Allah SWT and all his angels and Jinn’s and mankind than anyone else.
But like Spiderman says, it’s always your choice :)

I'm 12 and I asked a question something like why is the earth here, is god real? and all the adults were saying, "Your only 12 so it's obvious why you're being so ignorant asking that question." and, "You wouldn't understand, you're 12" and "Why am I even trying to answer a 12 year old kid on Yahoo." I think if they're saying that they are the ignorant ones. It's not fair how they do that. It's almost as bad as being racist. :(
