And then they also get upset if hey question someone elses aith and they dont like it coming from a christian. What makes them so special. And does this upset anyone else too. It does me, even tho I now it shouldn't, because I am better than that, but you just get those certain people that knows (like Dexter's Didi) which buttons not to push. (",)

I have come to accept it as it is. But I think the reason they get upset is their's is supposed to be the one true faith. Therefore, they make the assumption they must be right, and the non-believer must be wrong. It does not matter what your arguement may be, they have their religion on their side and that makes them right. Now that is a broad generalization, but it may be true for many.

Christians shouldn't get mad or defensive when someone is seeking to understand or has a sincere question about a particular aspect of their faith. In the Bible, we are told to always be prepared to give an answer for the faith we have in Jesus. I don't get upset when people ask questions. I'm just glad they're thinking about God.

What can be a little annoying is when people make insults disguised as questions or when they're disrespectful in their approach. If I wanted to ask you a question, starting it off with false assumptions or name-calling probably wouldn't be appreciated or cause you to go out of your way to give an insightful answer, would it?

It would be nice if everyone could be a little more respectful of each other.

I sincerely doubt all the christians gets upset over the questioning, but some do.

Two types I know who will get upset easily :

1. Those who were weak in their faith and thought they have all the answers.

2. Those very die hard christians who cannot accept any questioning against their faith as they thought they have the divine blessing and they will get away with their way on everything.

Some Christians are just very fanatical about their faith that they fell that it is a blaspheme to question the 'one and only true God'and some of them even think that people of other faiths are all going to hell in a hand basket which to my mind is total ly unfair as well as their ridiculous concept of hell. Many of the fundamental religions of the world today are in for a very painful awakening when the' world teacher' comes forth with a higher sense of truth as to the nature of deity.

I do not know why some do.. Question away..Love them..I wont bite I promise. It upsets me when I see angry answers to others yes.

Everyone seems to be so full of anger here at times.I just think it comes with the "belief" system you either believe or you don't..Some are nasty who don't believe and some are nasty who do. It is frustrating the anger you see in writing. When you are here you really get to understand the old phrase

"The pen is mightier then the sword."

The ones that get upset are the ones who are not equipped to defend their faith. They are the ones who know nothing but Christianity; they feel that it somehow angers God for them to learn about other faiths, or about things like science and philosophy and literature. Naivete and willful ignorance are their enemies, but they are afraid or ashamed to admit it.

If you think they frustrate you, think of how they must rake on those of us who converted later in life after looking over all the known possibilities.

I'm a Christian, but not everybody else in the world is. So of course, people will question my faith, and there are literally millions of people who don't share my beliefs. It doesn't especially bother me, because it's just a fact of life.

I would think the only ones to take a defensive attitude would be those who have their own doubts about their faith. By questioning, you are holding a mirror to their soul.

You could question me all day and I won't be upset because i am solid in my faith and love of the Lord. One of us might even learn something.

because they are just sheep!... they just blindly trust and follow something just based on some stories and a book and a person named reverend and they do not think of their own. Once you challenge them, they run of answers of other people have provided them and they get confused and lost and doubtful and that makes them angry... getting upset is a sign of weakness and that shows them being week in their faith....
