yes, it would. That confuses me a lot because he was very active and visible in the Old Testament.
A simultaneous, unified message would sure help us out a lot. I wonder how long we'll be waiting though...

The bible says that God will show himself one more time in the end time, the bible also discribes that there will be great suffering in the last days, wars, famine, great disasters........
People of the world are quick to say where was God during disastered such as the bridge collaps, but God didnt build that bridge, those bridges are created by man inspected by man. Disease is in this world today from sin and from our own causes. We are the responsible party for these wars, they from hate, greed, envy, ......all the things of the devil.
The bible has some great stories. the old testament is more about the history of mankind from the beginning of the world no more tha 10,000 years ago. The old testaments has alot of prophesies that all have come true or will come true. The new testament the first 4 books tell 4 storys by 4 men who were side by side wit Jesus, Acts deals with the establishment of Christs Church as gives us instuctions of exactly how the church should be today. Most of the rest of the books are letters from the apostle Paul while either out of town or in prison, they are mostly writing giving instructions to the churches in the diffrent cities, soem where having problems agreeing on some things much like we do today exept back then they didnt just run off and start their own church(denomination) i would suggest starting off in Acts while reading the gospels as well

God did show himself to the world at one point through his son Jesus. Did that stop the fighting? NO. If we look at the church after the death of Jesus we still see that people fought, even those that knew Jesus was the Messiah. I believe that if God were to show himself, there would be people fighting over whether they actually saw him or not.

He HAS shown us what he wants of us...through the Bible/
(2 Timothy 3:16-17) All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17Â that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.
Its just that we have not taken any notice.
Just like Jesus said about the people in Noah's day.
(Matthew 24:36-39) “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. 37Â For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. 38Â For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; 39Â and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be.
THEY TOOK NO NOTE...

when god shows itself from within each one of us who is fighting,
then there is great possiblity of peace for everyone
but we need to understand this on a personal level experience, and change that within before we can change the action of fighting, whatever the fight is over,
purely based on an individual change of mind,
that this is not how l wish to be then of course there is change
others will possibly think l wish to be more peaceful and become just that and spread the peace and help others find a way,
l would like to believe l am not just wishful thinking here,
l try to stay positive in thinking one day this will be

"If your sons will not listen to Moses and the prophets they would not listen to me though I be returned from the dead."
An excerpt from the story of Lazarus and the rich man. In the Old Testament.
NO They would find a way to rationalize God, or would be so hard hearted toward him they would defy him.

The Bible teaches us Faith. ..."Faith commeth by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." We need to Trust that he is there... by the things he does for us and by his Mercy!
I believe if God "shows" himself that takes away our Freedom of Choice... We are given the choice to live a Godly Life, we have the Choice to be Christ like or Not... He doesn't want Clones...He wants us to Choose to Follow him and Love him!
Try to think about having a child, would you want that Child to Love you because he feels like he has to love you... or because he chooses to, wants to, is thankful for the things you have done for him, thankful for YOUR uncondtitional Love! So I think that is why he chooses not to show himself!
I hope I have made sense!

No. He showed Himself to Adam, his back to Moses, and not seeing God is not the reason we have wars.

Unfortunately not. We already have lots of claims that god has shown himself -- none of which can be substantiated.
