I have to agree with Mr. Two crows on his answer. I am only a half-breed Ottawa and we do not discuss these things you asked. I don't know even know all the mysticism at this time and I may never know them all. But what I do know know I would not discuss it with anyone who was not within my own clan or I would with someone from another nation that I trusted and I was told by an Elder that it is alright. I won't even say what my role is within my own clan. Any book you read will not tell you the truth. I am just being honest with you and not try ing offend you or give you false information. Also, because I am only a half-blood I myself am also treated differently by my own people. But what I have learned I would never hurt anyone from any tribe. You have to know what it is and what it was like for the different Nations and what they went through. I hate being only a half blood as I am treated and laughed at and not accepted by some of the full bloods and the whites who know I am only a half blood I am treated the same way. I hate what I am and I should be proud.

Creation of Turtle Island
Native
The Ojibwa Indians, and some other First Nations people, refer to the world as Turtle Island. Different people have different ways of telling the story of how Turtle Island was created...sort of how the Protestants and the Catholics put a spin on their versions of Bible stories. But this is what I was told about how the world came to be...

If you've read The Creation Story you'll already know that the universe was created by Kitch-Manitou's abiity to envision all that was posible

you may desire to objective a number of the hot city myth it rather is available. I recommend the Dresden data series by Jim Butcher. He bargains with some Celtic-based magic. Then there is the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs that blends some close by American and a few ecu fae.

you are aware your scope is roughly 1,000 tribes deep, and unknown clans deeper. Not to mention all you'll find online is BS , false info and conjecture.
Real skins don't discuss these things with OUTSIDERS. Outsider means even other skins that are not your own tribe. Definitely NOT ONLINE.
