If we look at ourselves, we see shadows of God. We were created, after all, in His image.
So, from a human perspective, I see that we have the capability of being more than one thing at a time, depending upon the situation. We can be a Father and a Son at the same time. (Think about being at a family reunion.)
We can be the CEO, the Chief Accountant, The Salesman, and the Customer Service Representative at the same time. (Think of a single-owner business.)
We can be a leader and a follower at the same time. (Think of a Church Member who is in charge of a ministry.)
If we can do these things, it stand to reason that God certainly can, and He can do it perfectly and completely.

Bingo, Beg! Nice observation on your part. Isa. 43: 11 & 44: 6 spell this out. Jesus reiterated the same at John 14: 28 ( "The Father is greater than I") and many more places as well. He called out to his Father on the torture stake, using an intimate phrase-"abba"- akin to 'Daddy" or "Papa".
The 3-in-1 god is traced by all scholars to ancient Babal. When Man was forced to scatter, this false notion was spread thoughout the world and can be found everywhere. Egypt of old; India's roots; etc. (incidently, the rosery is another practice of ancient pagans, practiced by Buddhists and Hindus today as well as Cathelics).

Lets leave the 'theisms' out of it. The Trinity is easy to understand. We have God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. It's three different 'persons' whose purpose, and wishes for mankind are the same. It's just the same as a Company, who has three CEO's. They are all in one accord, want the same thing and not acting against one another, acting out of their own free will.
Each has a special 'task' for mankind. Jesus died so that our sins may be forgiven. (You need to understand fully the reasons that the Jewish people had to give animal sacrifices for their sins). His life was based on being obedient to God the Father, however, he could have chosen not to go to the cross. But He knew mankind needed the Ultimate sacrifice. And here he was in agreement with the Father.
Once he had risen from the dead, he had a resurrected body,i.e,. a different body from ours. Before He died, he had the same kind of body we have. This meant that he could not be in all places at the same time,( a privelage he had before He was born) But God the Father and God the Holy Spirit can can be in all places at the same time. The word used is omnipresence, which means being everywhere and omniscient, knowing everything.
The Holy Spirit is the person who is everywhere on this earth now. Jesus is seated on the right hand of the Father interceeding for us. Three entities all with the same purpose, but carrying out the same duties for mankind. Their wills are all in accord with each other, by choice.

G-d is One G-d with three natures or purposes. G-d is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is but One G-d. He is not three separate beings, if that were so, each could not and would not work together in harmony.
The Father is the Speaker of the Word, Son is the Word that comes from the Father, and the Holy Spirit is the Breath that carries the Father's Word into the world.
Let's see this in another way:
I am only one person, but have three 'natures or purposes'. I exist as a Daughter, Wife, and Mother. But, am still just One Person. It is impossible for me to be just a daughter. I'm incapable of being only a wife. I can't be just a mother.
For the whole me to exist in the lives of all my family members, I have to be a daughter; a wife; and a mother. However, I am one person, not three separate people.

The biblical reason lies with two verses: Math 28:19 and John 10:30. That is the source of the Holy Trinity.

As soon as you explain to me how you can be flesh and spirit and have an eternal soul and can still be one man. We are made in the image of God and If this is not correct we are mere flesh and perish with our flesh. How can you believe in God and that you have an eternal soul but say that God can not be more than one part? Our creation gives testimony to the trinity without an eternal spirit we have no salvation.
When you say you have a spirit are you saying you are more than one man?
The reason as you say the trinity is confusing is you insist that God must be simple enough for man to fully comprehend.
God is infinite and man is a finite being and can not fully comprehend the greatness of God only through God's revelation which you need to accept. When you stop trying to fit God into what you can accept and seek God he can and will reveal his truth to you but it is not by your wisdom you will know God but by his revelation.
Gen. 1:
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth
Gen.2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

The trinity is NOT A BIBLICAL TEACHING. It came about 400 years after Jesus was ressurrected. It is based on pagan religions.
It is because Jesus never said he was God. Jesus is the son of God. He is not the Almighty God. Jesus is an angel. In fact all through out the Gospels, Jesus gave all glory to his father and never once said he was God.
Mat 10:18 Jesus said to him: “Why do you call me good? Nobody is good, except one, God.
John 5:30 I cannot do a single thing of my own initiative; just as I hear, I judge; and the judgment that I render is righteous, because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him that sent me.
John 6:38 because I have come down from heaven to do, not my will, but the will of him that sent me.
Jesus is the promised seed. He is the first creation of God. He came down willingly to save mankind.
Now people that believe in the Trinity will quote a verse where Jesus says, "I and the father are one." but they mis apply it. Jesus was saying that he and his father are one in purpose and thought. Sort of like a winning sports team. They must act as one.
But to give other proof, at Gen 2:24 it says, "That is why a man will leave his father and his mother and he must stick to his wife and they must become one flesh."
They must become one, as in thought and purpose.

Christianity is polytheism. They say it is one God but its not. For example they give Satan alot more credit than he deserves. They give him Omniscient powers like they do God. They act like he is everywhere ready to pounce and ruin their lives. So if they believe in Satan is all knowing like God Then he must also be an evil God. So that is Polytheism also. Christianity makes no since if you really study it. Thats why you have you take everything by faith instead of using the reason God gave you to think sensibly
