You have to wait until you get to level 2 to answer more questions. Right now you can only answer 20 questions a day, but once you get to level 2, you can answer 40. It doesn't take too long to get to level 2; I only started Yahoo! Answers a week ago and I'm at level 2 right now.

To prevent spam from users who create new accounts after they get banned or want to go undercover. They give people with higher levels, or people who's been able to survive longer than others by following the rules, more privilege since they are trustworthy.
