May be not The Most but yes among those.
This one of the reasons, He will be sent to earth by Almighty God.
In his second coming to earth First he will fight with company of true believers and will kill Dajjal (Anti Christ ).

Second he will clear His position as a human and position of God Almighty as sole Divine Power and Unique personality, without sharing of any kind of Authority, Responsibility, and Power.

He will live a married life with kids and most probably live for thirty years and will die naturally.

And finally will be buried besides Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

God knows best.

Yes. Jesus is the razor's edge. You have to be on one side or the other. You can't stand on the blade or you'll get cut.

Jesus claimed:

1) To be God.
2) To be the only path to God.
3) To be the only truth.
4) To have power over life and death.
5) To have the power to condemn a person to eternal punishment.

etc.

He's either a complete nut-job, or he is who he says he is. That's an important distinction. If he's not who he claims to be, then he's certifiably insane. He's delusional. As a result, all the moderates and peacemakers who want to call him "a great teacher" or "a nice guy" are just making stuff up. A great teacher wouldn't make the claims Jesus made about himself.

As a result he demands a decision. You either follow him to the truth or you deny him to your own destruction. There's no middle ground. And that makes him very controversial.

To MadMan: Jesus was a carpenter not a priest. Never ever heard him referred to as a priest. Anyways Jesus may indeed be the most controversial because he is directly correlated with God. It's called the Trinity. for Jesus is God in human form.God is a spirit, and the Holy ghost is the spirit within every living creature. So God can manifest into three forms, yet .Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit are all one. Many people have a hard time believing if Jesus was actually able to perform miracles and heal, and if he was indeed resurrected. He was named a blashemer by those who did not believe His word and His teachings. Those that do not believe in God but believe in Jesus are only contradicting themselves for God is Jesus and Jesus was one of the great philosophers on this earth and will always be.

Yes, he is the most controversial being if people are honest about all surrounding his very existence.
Does God exist?
He will drive men crazy; why would a good God do that? I don't know.
People need to believe in something other than themselves, but there comes a time when people can't keep questioning whether he's real or not, so they may turn completely away, or half believe or just hope that he does exist.
He is controversial and will be until when?

yeah, He has to be, because He was the only person who ever lived who was actually TRUTH, incarnate.

Plus, unlike other religious figures, he exhorted people to repent of their sin. He said there is a life or death issue at hand -- he didn't just feed people this watered down soft-soap of "find inner peace, be good to people, everything will be alright forever." To the people who felt(feel) convicted of sin, they either love Him or hate Him. THAT'S why He's the most controversial being that ever lived - and He still LIVES! (hence the controversy continuing to this day.....)

I could accept Jesus as a martyr, an embodiment of sacrifice, and a divine teacher, but not as the most perfect man ever born. His death on the Cross was a great example to the world, but that there was anything like a mysterious or miraculous virtue in it my heart couldn't accept. The pious lives of Christians didn't give me anything that the lives of men of other faiths have failed to give.

Not lived - lives. He's still changing people's lives today! He changed mine.

And, B.B, the fact that Jesus is a real person is a historically proven FACT - not an opinion - and not disputed by reputable scholars.

People will allways argue about him and his teaching. They wont argue though when they see him descend from the clouds again.
