Because he's not really real, you see...people just call "God" whatever they feel like.

Yes God is everywhere.God can see us whereever will be.God has 99 best names in line with God's nature or power
such as almighty,merciful,omnipotent,omnipresent,omniscient
etc.Allah is the only one God for muslims.Allah has no ally at all.Allah has no son and no parents and also no wife.Allah is only one as a principle of monotheism since Adam ,Abraham Moses,Jesus up to Muhammad pbuh the last prophets..Allah can be called in our own language but its principle is only one. can not be changed.God has no sharing power with other. If God has other ally so God has no omnipotence.God has no beginning and has no end.

Just as there are different languages throughout the world, surely there are different names for God. Still, this does not change the very essence of our Creator. What's in a name? A rose by any other name would smell as sweet. : )

First we have to understand the statement.
it means you can't go to some place in this world where you cant find him.
so god is everywhere , inside you and outside, inside me and everyone.
so true realization of god is not in giving him a name, rather it's finding him inside your self and others and everywhere.
so different people give different names to this god, which is reasonable for their culture and language.
it's just like if i change my name to some tom cruise, or some x , my identity is not going to change , and i am still what i am.
that's what all these names are if you realize, but if you believe i am helpless.

Most of the name was written in the old book and it depend very much on the native language, personal interpretation and belief.
The most important thing is not the name, but to know Him and to understand why are we here.

Simply because language has changed over time and differently among different regions and so has words meaning "God" along with it. I don't remember exactly so correct me if I'm wrong, but god used to be just called "YHVH"

No one knows what the name OF "god" is, so different cultures have different words for "diety" or what they think the divine "thing" is. Different languages and all that jazz.

We can and we do.
Same GOD, different name.
You could even call him BOB and he would answer just the same.
