When I returned back to work after a hospital operation, my work collegue (who is also a "friend" who I sometimes go for drinks with) didn't even ask me how I was. I was away for a week and still to this day she hasn't even ask me anything about it, even though we sit nex to each other at work. I was quite upset.

Now some time later: she too has returned from a stay in hospital after an operation, but I still cant forget the time she completley ingnored me- and showed a lack of interest into my wellbeing.

I am feeling like doing the same (ignoring the fact she's been away) just to give her a tase of her own medicine.

should I?

All they need to do when this questions comes up is ONE: nothing, TWO: Give the correct answer.
The one answer I got told how she was a Christian. I now know why so many people do not want anything to do with them. I know I have been hurt, taken, and deceived by so call Christian more times then with someone who is not.

Catholics do not believe the bible alone.

Hope that makes sense.

So when you say Catholics do things that are not in the bible you are absolutly correct.

The bible was not formed fully until the council of Cathage in 400ad. That means for aroun 5 lifetimes the church existed on something else.

That is Church doctrine and traditions that Jesus created and the apostles put together. The same people put the bible together and were led by the holy spirit.

So what makes people think bible ALONE is acurate ?

When you understand the early teachers and the bible you would have the truth!

If you only have the bible you have some truth but not the real means to interpret it.

think of it like a first century concordance explaining all the hard parts - wouldnt that be excellent??

Yet Martin Luther even took parts out of the bible that he didnt like- Did god change his mind from 400 ad to 1520 AD, did the holy spirit say "ooops I didnt mean that"

My understanding is that the theory is about how something works, not if it exists. No one denies that gravity exists, but the theory is our best understanding of how it works. No one denies germs exist, but the theory is our best explanation of how they work. And of course no one with a rudimentary understanding of earth science denies that evolution exists, but the theory is our understanding of how it works. Am I correct that theories change as we learn more about how things work?

The Pope reasserted a Papal doctrine that goes back centuries, stating that the Catholic Church is the only true church and that other Christian denominations are not true church's in that they do not adhere to the Pope and therefor do not have the power of salvation. Does the Pope have the power to dictate who can be saved and who can not? Back your answers up with Scripture, please.
