I think I disagree. Everybody may have been selfish in their lives but not everyone is selfish. I think it's too assuming telling that everybody in the world is selfish. You're pointing that God, who created us is selfish too when the fact is He's not.

It's contagious. If the people around me are selfish, I'm forced to be selfish too, or else they will all take advantage of me and I'll have nothing.

It is one of the hinges upon which evolution functions.

If we aren't selfish then we are not inclined to keep ourselves alive, and without effort applied to self-preservation we would invariably die before we were ever able to breed.... and therefore life would never have got anywhere.

Selflessness is self-destruction.

ego and insecurity...
we have the tools to get past this and be full of joy and work together... unfortunately, we allow our egos to get in the way of using them.

We would rather be right than happy. We think that being right all the time makes us happy... when it is self esteem and knowing our selves that really makes us happy. Embrace every mistake as a chance to learn and not as a failure.

Learn from others and you will teach them so much.

People are selfish because we all sin and come short of the glory of god even christians or what ever faith you come from sin nobody is perfect so dont expect everything to change
