Dear Coxinha,
I believe that couldn't be possible because when Jesus returns, the bible says he won't be born like before. He already did that, and after ressurrection it says he has now a glorified body, not like ours, and in the book of Revelation you can read that he will come in power, not in humbleness like before. When he first came he was like a lamb, but when he return it'll be in power and glory, and no one will be able to make fun of him, but the ones that didn't believe him "will have sorrow, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."
This generation isn't prepared, and it's gonna get worse until that day, so we must make search for him while we have the chance. (Isaiah 55 verse 6)
God bless you, Coxinha! See ya!

I believe you are right. Most extremist or people who are just different are found guilty before the trial. I think we can say that we are not much better than the Romans 2000 years ago. Isn't it more likely that we would let a drug dealer or car thief out of jail sooner than some crazy freak claiming he was the son of God? We'd probably throw him in a rubber room and try to sedate him. Then we would psychoanalyze why he would make such crazy claims like his mother was a virgin when he was born. How about the part of walking on water? Surely it was smoke and mirrors. Just look at David Blane and Chris Angel.
Some will be ready, but most will assume it was an alien abduction. Doesn't this just seem like a sad reality? Well, hope your all ready. I'm ready for that alien invasion.

In Christian theology, when He comes back, it will be to take us with him. Therefore, I don't think there would be enough time for people to make fun of him.
Our generation probably isn't ready, and yes there are many atrocities. I expect it'll just go downhill from now, seeing as Bible passages tell of what will be happening before His return - wars and such. But its our job, our Great Comission to prepare.

Believe me, when Jesus returns, people are going to take notice. If I am correct, won't people actually look down in shame as He takes the rest of His believers with Him to paradise. Jesus is coming soon because much of the Scripture has come to pass and the time is getting close.

Actually, when He comes back this time it will be different because He will be acommpanied by great signs and wonders. Scripture tells us that FINALLY every knee will bow and every tongue will confess He is Lord.
This is really different from His first coming when He was despised and rejected by many. He submitted to those humiliations as part of His martyrdom for our sins. The cross was not the only place He suffered for us.

When Jesus returns, He'll be coming back in His full glory. This time, there won't be ANY confusion as to who He is.
The bible even says that when He does return all the world will see it. Which I thinks that means it will make CNN headlines.

yes, yes, yes I often worry that He will return as a beggar and I will blow him off as we all do. I totally agree with you. He was so unlike others and think of the one that heralded him, John the Baptist who ate grasshoppers and dresssed and looked really weird ?? who today would listen to people like Jesus and john. That is why I say it would have been harder to believe then !! I can't wait for Jesus' return I have been begging him to take me home but he tells me my work is not yet done here

In that case, maybe he has already? Jesus was only recognized as the messiah at the age of about 30 or so.

There will be no laughing or joking when Jesus comes back. It will be a very sober experience.
