hi all...

I woke up this morning with my air conditioner going off then coming back on two times, then, off..

and, then, I realized, that how much I take electricity for granted..how blessed we are to have it..- really think about it-

finally, my electricity came back on, and, I thanked God, for it, because he created it, and, i thanked Our Lord God, that he created a man who could harness it... Ben Franklin...

what an awesome God we Have...thank you Jesus!!

When children come out the womb, they are innocent and pure. Most of what they learn are taught to them by the adults living at home. So please everyone, teach your kids the truth, so they will not grow up to discriminate against people based on skin color or what they see on tv.

There are evil people out there of EVERY RACE doing evil things!

Does anyone believe that they need to obey every law in affect? Since so many believe that we are born into sin does this negate our need to try to be Moral.
This question may seem to be across the board but it would appear that every time a Moral question arrises then we feel the need to impliment a new Law. [Abortion for instance] or drug use etc. etc. but does anyone realize that with each new law we loose that much more freedom that we will never get back. There are so many in fact that I don't believe that anyone even tries to obey them all, just the ones that pertain or that we truly fear the consequences of. So is the general census that a Law is a deterant? If that were the case then what happened with prohibition and why is there still so much drug use?

The one when Skinner gets sacked and Flanders becomes the school principal; towards the end, Bart is trying to get Flanders sacked and the superintendent doesn’t want to sack him but then he hears Flanders say over the PA, “Let’s all thank the Lord for another beautiful day.” Then the superintendent goes, “That sounds like a prayer. A prayer in a public school, a public school is no place for prayer…”

Another instance is when Homer is about to have heart surgery and he’s kneeling at the side of his hospital bed praying until a nurse coughs and points to a sign that says, “No praying.”

Am I reading too much into this or is it playing up the Christians annoying habit of thinking they’re being persecuted?

Has anyone out there had an experience with the elderly and c. difficile infection? My mom was recently on a pretty intense course of iv antibiotics and I'd like to know what to watch out for. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My friend said that he was Agnostic in a sort of way. He blieves in God, he believes in the 10 commandments including all man is =. He uses his intellect, seeing is believing in a sort of way. He believes the Big Bang, evoloution, DNA.
He believes Death is natural way, a mysterious death that all humans, living things is connected to Birth-----time---then death.
he is spirtual in a kind of way, seeking the truth.
He's not atheist.

Is he really agnostic that believes in God?

I keep seeing butterflies and although they are common to my area, they are not something that I have ever seen so many of. I would like to know the spiritual or folklore behind seing butterflies.
