My friend said that he was Agnostic in a sort of way. He blieves in God, he believes in the 10 commandments including all man is =. He uses his intellect, seeing is believing in a sort of way. He believes the Big Bang, evoloution, DNA.
He believes Death is natural way, a mysterious death that all humans, living things is connected to Birth-----time---then death.
he is spirtual in a kind of way, seeking the truth.
He's not atheist.

Is he really agnostic that believes in God?

I always figure an agnostic is an atheist who is afraid to admit it. Or I suppose he could also be a person who strives to be 100% honest, and an honest man would admit that he can't prove there is a God and he can't prove there is not a God. An honest man could also admit that he can't prove a yellow dragon lives in the centre of the moon, and he can't prove a yellow dragon does not live in the centre of the moon.
So the proof for and against the existence of a God is not very impressive when you can use the same argument for a yellow dragon in the moon, or any other theory you want to offer. I think the yellow dragon argument is a valid argument against the theory of a God, and an agnostic might need no more to become a confirmed atheist.

Such a discovery would provide some circumstantial evidence for the existence of God. But it could also be coincidence, an artifact of the development of intelligence. It is still not direct evidence. I'm not sure exactly how "same" you mean. Would these aliens have a tradition of their "god" becoming one of them and dying unjustly for their sake? That would be tremendously interesting, but again, it could simply be the manifestation of a communal "salvation" story arising from the need for intelligence to not feel alone in the universe. It does not disprove the likelihood that we are indeed on our own. The only incontrovertible proof for an atheist would be a direct manifestation of God, or of divine activity. Even so, it would have to overcome any alternative explanations. As it stands, the atheistic model has no need for a "creator" or other omnipotent being, so any "supernatural" event would be subject to further scrutiny.

Wikipedia is usually written by people like you and me, so it's not a "be all, end all" type of source. But it's a good place to get general info. (Sometimes companies or experts to write the articles). Here's a quote from there:

Agnosticism maintains that the nature and attributes of god are beyond the grasp of man's finite and limited mind; those divine attributes transcend human comprehension.

An agnostic doesn't believe there is no such thing as god, but is open to persuasions to believe that knowledge of god is possible. As for me, I'm agnostic atheist, meaning i dont believe in god, but i am capable of believing if someone proved that god existed. i think your friend is christian, but just has some doubts.

Perhaps, God is in the process of "drawing" your friend to Him. Only the test of time will tell !!! Many people believe "ON" God - but believing "IN" God is an entire, different issue. Good and interesting question !

he believes in god? in an entity called god? then he wouldn't be an agnostic. he does seem to be rather agnostic in his view of his religion, however.

agnostic means no knowledge or no faith. so no. he is something else.

i'm sorry...you can't BELIEVE in god and be agnostic. it is a contradiction. agnostics don't use the word belief to describe themselves. they don't believe there is a god, they don't believe there is not a god.
