Why do Christians divide themselves into so many sects? Is it not enough for them to be known as Christian only?

It is a problem. But the fact is is that we are all Muslums under one ummah. There shouldn't be so many sects. Now on facebook, when you select a religion, under Muslim, they list all the sects that exist. That stuns me. What is wrong with just being a Muslim?

It was predicted by the Prophet (SAWS) that this would happen. Really, it is human nature. It is hard to get two people to agree on a what to have for dinner, much less on a whole body of theology. That goes even more for a billion people! It shouldn't bother you so much though. It will all be sorted out in the end. Personally, I call myself a Muslim, and that's it.

look at all the denominations that xians are divided into! hundreds of denominations that christians are divided into in the US alone!!!!
