Normally when I eat spaghetti alone, I just slurp it up into my mouth and make a mess everywhere. I dip my bread in the sauce and go to town.....OK, so I am taking this new chick on a first date to an all you can eat spaghetti place. Should I eat like I normally do or should I use a stupid spoon and twirl the noodles?

Fill in the blank.

I stole this is a line from the fantastic book by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, "The Little Prince" (somebody just listed this as their favorite book). You may think it's a children's book, but it is just as much for adults.

Everyone should read it, it will take an hour of your time.

Afterall 80% of all answers are not what you're looking for given by the ignorant who have no insight, not to mention nothing else to do but hang out at this website, prove what idiots they really are just so there friends can laugh at them. Even now because you are so shallow, you're thinking of a wiseass remark because you can't accept the fact you're little more than a parasite...

a question to the effect of "Why do you care what theist believe,if you dont believe in God?"

is the overiding answer generally is becuase theist beliefs have an affect on you when we try to put them into the legal system.

Question:Does it occur to you that when you force atheistic type laws into the legal system, that has an effect on theist lives as well? My guess is your response is something like "no,my beliefs are my beliefs and your beliefs your beliefs;and we dont affect each other".
If that is your response, then you would be flat wrong. The fact that you dont like theistic beliefs in the legal system and in your lives, shows at least in part that you agree with the answer to Cain's question to God "Am I my brother's keeper?" The answer is yes;becuase what one does can affect many and what many do can affect one.
In short, dont be deceived in thinking atheistic beliefs have no affect on theist and other people;cause they do very much so.

I had a guy on here tell me that "It's in the Bible" isn't an argument.... but yet he felt that giving me a link to an article was. So his reading material carries more of an argument than mine?

Isn't it ironic that someone felt that my resources could not be used, but his could? Is it possible that he knows that he can't really disprove the Bible, and is more so saying that it isn't fair of me to use something he can't rationally argue against?

I mean faith answers the why questions and science answers the congruent how questions.

Why cant we just teach spirituality and science in one class:

First:This is what God said He did
Second:This is the physical science of how He did it.

Now does the brain really have to be stretched like taffy or a rubberband to imagine that?

ok.

i am a christian person.

been baptized, go to church, wear a cross, take communian and everything

but this thought keeps popping up in my head about selling your soul to the devil...

and it keeps bothering me, its like i cant think about anything else...

i mean like if i wanted like something to drink a voice in my mind pops up and says "id sell my soul for a drink..." and i never really mean it, it just comes up out of nowhere...
but when i was logging in to my account earlier today,(ive been waiting to see if i got a best answer) that voice pops up again and it says "id sell my soul for a best answer..." and when i get to my profile, i find out that i did get the best answer...
ive been worked up about this and i dont want to be...
is this really something to worry about?

id really appreciate serious answers and not something like "sell it on ebay or walmart..."

please i really need a serious answer...

My parents and peer group have said before that if a person plays with themself a lot and is obsessed with sex when they're young that they are more likely to become gay. They say this is true because most gay people want to play with themselves and have sex all the time.

Monotheism = You can assemble wood to make a cabinet, but you did not CREATE the wood etc.

Humans and animals can BEGET but we can NEVER create a life or a child. We do not make the cells multiply etc.

The Creator Creates while ALL others beget.

Monotheism is to worship the ONE who creates.

Monotheism is to never worship anything that has been created.

Do you agree ?

Do you think it's a fake? If so, they're darned good. They've been examined by thousands of Scientists and not one has cast doubt on their authenticity.
Do you think this is a missing link? (by the way, the term "missing link" is a pop-culture myth, there is no such thing in the REAL world)
Do you believe it to be left by Satan(tm) in order to "steer people away from god"?
Honestly what do you think when you see the mountains of evidence that support Evolution?
And lastly, how do explain that it doesn't exist any longer, when clearly, it did. If creationism was a fact, then EVERYTHING would stand an equal chance to survive to this day.

I could add more but these should do just fine.
Oh and no replies that link "answeringgenesis.org" even die-hard creationists consider that site a joke.

My other grad project didnt end up working out so i need to find out a new grad project envent that will benefit the community. I have already written a paper about The Children's Miracle Network, so what ever i am going to do it will benefit them.

So here are some ideas i came up with:
*Date Auction: Get men and women to be auctioned off for a date in our community.
*Martial Art & Dance Day: Have my martial art's groups and my sister's dance groups to come in and do demonstrations and charge a 2 dollar entrance fee, and have a local supermarket provide refreshments.
*24 hr Dance off: have people sponsor a member from my capoeira group and have a dance off and for every hour that a participant stays in they are given so much money to give to the Children's Miracle Network.
*Game show day: open to anyone in the community. It would be a day of all classic game shows.with three grand prizes for the 3 people with the most game points at the end of the day. 5 dollar part. fee
