lucy: Have no fear ! You cannot "sell" your soul to the devil because the soul is not immortal - you are the soul. The "immortality of the soul" line, has been handed down through history.
The Egyptians preached this to their people and the later, invading Greeks, under General Ptolemy [Sotor] introduced this into Greek or Hellenistic culture, which eventually evolved into spurious, Christian doctrine. The initial reason for this was to exercise control over the masses through fear religion, by telling people that they had an immortal soul, which could be burned forever in a "hell" fire. The Egyptians had the "underworld" - and so did the Greeks as their "hell".
In all actuality though, Satan perpetuated this lie in the Garden of Eden, by telling Eve that God had lied to her and that she would not die should she imbibe of the "fruit" (Genesis chapter 3) . Only Jesus Christ has immortality (see:
First Timothy chapter 6, verse 16). The word soul is better translated from the Hebrew word "nephesh" meaning "breath" or "life breath". This is the human being, being a living soul ! You will find the "soul" subjected to death (Ezekiel, chapter 18, verse 20) - IF the soul were "immortal" it could not therefore, "die". so don't fret about it !

I share a similar story,I once got ISS in school,it's were you are secluded away from classmates, during that time I grew very sick, the temperature was normal, but I felt very very cold, all day,I went home took a hot shower, still nothing better, that night,I kept thinking the words F*** God,I was a good christian, yet these thoughts would not relent,I truly thought I'd end going to hell, eventually later that month,I was lying in bed at night, same thoughts,Then something happened I'd never forget,It felt as if something being lifted from my body,It was like I forgot how to breath,Then it was over,I stopped having the blasphemous thoughts, the words screaming in my head.So my best advice to you is wait for god to do something about it,you might have a demon, but with a high faith the demon will leave,or God will forcibly remove it,well hope it helps.

well unfortunately the way you described yourself as a christian you already have... you see the spiritual world doesn't belong to the church it belongs to nature.... the church has done great damage to the natural evolution of our world... You read a book that says the devil will deceive many... look at everyone who is christian, they still fight for him, they are the ones deceived... a good example of the foolishness or blindness of the deceived.... the second commandment says don't bow down to idols, (statues are idols) yet catholic priests do it for a living... how to get your soul back... stay away from religions... it's simple.

ok...I do not believe in souls or the devil...but if I did I would think that it would have to be a way more conscious choice to sell it to him
I think you are worrying yourself about nothing. You have a thought stuck in your head that you do not like and because you do not like it you cannot stop worrying about it.
It is kind of like when you pick up a word or phrase that someone uses that you hate but because you hate it you think about it & because you think about it you suddenley find yourself using it.....
If you are still worried then maybe try praying. Explain that you mean nothing by these words & ask God to help you - then let it go & let him deal with it.
Ok....weird as an atheist giving this advice....but I hope it helps.

eh, i wouldn't worry too much about it. Sometimes people just can't help but say/think the same thing over and over again... it's like when u get a song stuck in your head, u repeat it over and over again even after ur sick of it, or when people say that same thing all the time just because it's automatic for them...like "it hurt so bad it's not even funny, or that test went so awful it wasn't even funny"... which i think is a dumb phrase, but people tend to tack it on to situations anyways. Maybe that's just the mode your brain is in, i would't worry about it much unless your actually considering selling your soul...which i wouldn't recommend, u might need that one day lol.

you can't actually sell your soul. but you can choose the path to the fallen one. saying I'd sell my soul is just a form of manifestation.
. I believe in a god of unconditional love that created our souls with free will (not humans) in his likeness. many souls could not bear to leave fathers side for the loss of love. many souls went out and returned to share their adventures. Some souls rebeled wanted to be a god themselves. This place (earth system) WAS CREATED FOR THE SOUL TO MAKE ITS FINAL CHOICE. Do they really want to be a "little God and live in dominion=lordship over others. or return to father of love/fellowship/joy/sharing/ab... bliss.

You need to pray about this! I can't imagine why you would keep hearing this voice say that all the time. Try memorizing some scripture, like Phillipians 4:8. It may help!

Sounds like you are really obsessing. I wouldn't worry that you are accidentally selling your soul repeatedly, if that's what you are worried about! I have a feeling if you could sell your soul, it wouldn't be that easy.
I personally don't believe in god or the devil, but I was raised catholic/christian and I know it's scary. Try to relax, it will be OK.

No, you can't sell your soul to the devil in spite of all the movies about it. The devil never gets your soul,,that belongs to God, but he can tempt you and cause you to sin,,and if you don't ask God to save you, and accept Jesus as your Savior,,,you could end up where he is going...
