Christian ministries are going all over the world bringing food, medicine, clothing to the poor and needy. Many Christian organizations have built hospitals, schools and drinking water facilities in these same areas. Christian attorneys (ACLJ) are taking their personal time to fight for our rights in the Supreme Court and in lesser courts. Christian organizations also haves many prison outreaches, homeless shelters, food shelves and programs to help single parents. YMCA is a Christian organization, Boy Scouts of America is a Christian organization, Red Cross is a Christian organization, Compassion International, Christian Childrens Fund, Billy Graham Assoc outreach - etc.
These are only a few organizations doing Gods work and helping humanity. God Bless You.

in the posts prior to mine are a list of some good things that have been done, and a few evil ones that were done in the name of religion or Jesus to which Jesus would say they are not my people.
Much of what the Christians have done is to add stability to places. If you want to read some interesting facts, france underwent a lot of blood baths every time they threw the christians in their country out. It is not that the Christians were soldiers, they just add stability to a society. I know this is getting close to the spiritual side, but that is the base from which all other answers come.
The Christian who loves Jesus loves truth and strives to be honest as a merchant, and a worker, to do good work for their pay. it is setting an example of standards.
the complexity of your question is enormous,

well, you yourself mentioned the Crusades, and of course the most Christian nation in Europe (steeped in centuries of Catholic and Protestant anti-semitism) carried out the Holocaust. Then there was Yugoslavia, which was mainly about a landgrab by Christian Serbs against Bosnian Muslims. Sunnis and Shias killing each other in Iraq. Then, of course, there was the thing about those people who flew planes into buildings a few years ago. I recall that "Allah akbar" was the last thing heard on the flight-data recorder. ... so, I guess I'd have to say no.

The very first thing would be humanity itself without a Creator we would not have Christianity we would not exist. Law and order are the next two that come to mind. Hope, without Christ there is no hope. Love, without love there could be no forgiveness.

I am not a Christian, but I believe it has contributed a sence of care, concern, and compassion for one's fellow human being. This is not necessarily exemplified by every Christian that I have met. But then again, as humans, we can only seek to follow God's path and we are not perfect.

To be sincere I love Gothic Churches. They are great.
Modern architecture is based in many ways in the the Gothic principles of light, free spaces and the expression of the structure of the building.
