I think any time this happens we will feel uncomfortable, because we don't know anyone yet. The key is to keep going and get to know people and get involved with something that's going on. I know what you mean, I've done this before. When I married my husband he was already a Preacher, and I needed to adjust to a whole church of people I didn't know. It takes awhile, but then it's fun. Find one that believes like you do, and then stick with it!

Just tell yourself, you wouldn't be here if these people did not share your common values and beliefs. I am a Christian, you don't say which faith you are, but in our church, we think of each other as extended family...I'll bet your new church does too. You should feel right at home in no time. Try and take it easy for the first few services until you get the lay of the land,,and remember,,,you must want to be here or you wouldn't be...so relax and enjoy the journey.

Great question, one I think many of us who attend church is faced with. Try and make friends at the new church, talk with people introduce yourself and don't be so worried about what people may think about you. A lot of times it is up to you to make yourself feel comfortable at a new church because most people I have noticed aren't always welcoming.

Smoke a doobie in the parking lot before church. No, this is not a joke. God don't make no junk. The weed was created for a purpose. Consider it a sacrament.

One thing is to dress your best. You never know if it is formal or casual dress. Dressed up is never out of place. Pray up for it...Ask God for you to receive all you he has for you. Be friendly, and greet people. You might also ask where to sit, or have an usher help you find a place.

Go with Jesus, for Jesus and because of Jesus. Seek ye first the kingdom and these things (friends) will be added unto you.
