where can i get a list of some senior citizen activity ideas?

my area has a senior citizens association, they serve meals, have activities, etc.

You can try the YMCA and also call the Mayor's office or whomever is in charge of the area you live in. I'm sure there are many different types of activities and they also have trips for seniors, places they can go to to play cards, etc. Many seniors volunteer to help others in soup kitchens, or meals on wheels. I work with elderly people cleaning their homes so they dont' have
to go into nursing homes & have for the last 1 years. Iattend the community center with a guy who can't drive any more. Have a good night. :0)

Do not forget physical activities.
I am often the youngest person at our local pool during lap swim.
Everything I read about aging well stresses remaining as active as possible.

I worked with seniors and of course they all love bingo. I would have them tell a story. It just takes a couple of people to start tellling stories and they all want to participate. They can remember things that happened long ago but maybe not yesterday. It was fun!!
