Divided, against itself, shall fall, to ruin.
Not to mention 2nd is like 1st in Mt 22 Law Law;
And in Romans 8:2 Law Law 1st is sin & death.

What God divided was not darkness vs darkness,
but rather darkness vs light; Let there be light(only).

The day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.
The day of God is light having no darkness at all.

Why, when all the scriptures say to love everyone is there so much religous intolerance and Hate? Hindus hating Muslims, Muslims hating Hindus, Hindus hating Seiks, Christians hating Muslims, Christians hating Jews, Muslims hating Jews, Jews hating Muslims, etc. etc... Why can't we all just love each other as the scriptures say? Thay all say "love your brother." When are we going to start listening?

Have they ever done it on their own, without getting sued first of having criminal charges filed? They've sent them to get cured, where they pray and get forgiveness, but have they ever just been removed?

Why do americans do this? Here I have an example, victoria beckham. America didn't feel that Victoria Beckham looked happy enough with her serious expression in photos, so this was what she was pressured to do:

do americans really think that facial expression is attractive?

I was wondering what you personally thought of what the pope did in 1986, when he invited all the world religions to come and pray with him. He said they where all praying to the same God, he allowed the Dali lama to place a buddah on the alter while they chanted and prayed.
Do you think Jesus Christ would have done this today, or even agreed with it? please note.
I am not attacking Catholics I believe you are great Christians, I just do not agree with what the leaders of the church do. I do not think they are the only true church, that title only belongs to individual true Christians as a group all over the world, and not a organization or building. Catholic, Prodesents, Reformed, Jesuit, non of them are the true church. you are yourself along with others from other secs.

Until the 4th Century the New Testiment [and The Old Testiment] didn't exist in the form of Christian doctrine. They were merely a part of hundreds of other documents held sacred by early Christians.

But early in the 4th Century Constantine and the bishops of Jerusalem, Antioch, Rome, and Alexandria met in an attempt to formalize the Christian religion and doctrine. Those 4th Century men also created the Apostles Creed, defining what a Christian must believe to be a Christian.

Were those bishops and an emporer qualified to judge which early Christian documents were holy, and which were not?

They'd been arguing about the matter from the time they came out of hiding from the Romans.

Their decisions, 300 years after Jesus died, became everything we've seen since. Crusades, Inquisition. Massacres, holy wars, and Jim Jones et al.

Did they make the right choices?

An unfortunate tendency to rely on A god to explain the unexplainable.

Through-ought years societies, when faced with something they can not explain, tend to simplify it by saying "it was god".

Now personally, i believe that there may be some sort of god-like being out there (who may or may not know we exist, but certainly doesn't interefere here on Earth).

I think this because scientists & physicists alike cannot explain anything sooner than .00000001 seconds after the big bang occurred mathematically (give or take).

If anyone has any information regarding any new break-throughs regarding this, or on the actual question of whether or not they agree that societies (religious ones) tend to attribute to god, what they cannot explain. Feel free to post.

An article was posted at arcamax.com in their "religion news" section. It was not clear, from the article, whether the museum is near Cincinnati or located in Petersburg, Ky.

It just opened on Memorial Day weekend. They projected that 250, 000 people would visit this year, but in 2 months, 100,000 have already visited.

It is a high-tech, $27 million, 60,000-square-foot museum and planetarium, which presents a scientific view of the biblical creation account. The museum, a project of the "Answers in Genesis" ministry, features more than 50 educational videos, animatronic dinosaurs and a special effects theater.

I grew up UPC/Baptist. My father was a baptist preacher but my mom took my to a united pentecostal church. So I always struggled between the two. For the majority of my life I've gone to upc, but 2 years ago my mom converted to baptist and were all going to a baptist church. I hate it. I come out of church so mad, because I feel like there all wrong, and there leading people astray. I feel like they look down on me because I believe the way I do. I've struggled with what I believe. But I've come to the conclusion that Acts 2:38 is real, the Holy Ghost is real, and what I felt at the pentecostal church is the Spirit of God. And the baptist are trying to take that away from me. And then I've got my dad, he's so hard headed, he thinks that he can still boss me around and I'm 25, in college, and trying to get away from him. I just don't know what to do. I'm about at the end of my rope or at least that's how I feel. what should I do, and why do women have to look funny in upc?

The average life expectancy now is 78, and by 2008, the first baby boomers will begin to retire. Do you think the Bush Administration is playing on our fears to get his SS proposal accepted? I think it includes cut benefits, delayed retirement, and revised wages and price indexes, along with tax credits. In other words, does SS really need fixing or is this propaganda?

You sing hallelujahs about people being tortured and murdered for Christ in the Eastern countries. Then scream bloody murder in the West when they take the 10 Commandments out of the courthouse.
You think you're being persecuted? The Book says you are going to get kicked in your Butts, Boys and Girls!

It doesnt seem like it. Only if he has a "degree" and $ does seem like they repsect a man who can think. There seems to be no appreciation of potential at all. Only in what he has now. Some of the most intelligent men who ever lived did not have a formal degree but in this era of Neo-classim, human beings validity as a human being is defined by the degree. Though in the past, the degree was seen as a sign of conformity and the fact that one does not have the capacity to think outside of the box or someone else's set standards. This is no longer the case. And women have taken hold of that. Men who are truly unique have no place and as always are forced to be alone. Anyone can memorize a book, few can construct new processes to doing things. Why is it that women don't care about this in men? So long as a $ bill is a the end then its valid and he is worthwhile it seems.

I have been praying the rosary for a few days now and have fallen in love with it. This is different for me since the prayers of the rosary do seem to pray to Mary. It is making me want to learn more about the Catholic church and I am looking into RCIA classes to become a member of the Catholic church. Do any Protestants pray the rosary or not since the Protestand church doesn't teach much about Mary? Thank you.
