Is it just me, or do some people get on your nerves when you post a question and their answers are 'well, if you took the time to research your question...'
It seems kinda pointless to ask a question therefore on YA if you already know the answer. Right?

Certainly there are those who bring about their own suffering. Self inflicted. I've gone through things and I'm currently going through some situations that I just can't understand. I'm trying to figure out where is God in all of this? I sometimes wonder why even bother? It's really frustrating. Comments are welcome. Post away.

books were found in Egypt that were coined the gnostic gospels. they were around in the 50AD timescale. thats relatively close to the crucifixtion, yet thier style of christianity is extremely different than todays, with a whole different outlook on life and god/god's. too much to go into detail here while still seeming to be coherent, but if your familiar shouldnt we give weight to what they have to say

I am english, I have no axe to grind, but I just find it so irritating that so many people post questions knocking the Americans, I know they are not perfect, nor are we, but at least we think the same way on a lot of issues. They are just an easy target because they are such a big country.

On 24th December every year, the 3 brightest stars in Orion's Belt, called today what they were called in ancient times, the "Three Kings", line up with Sirius, the brightest star in the sky. This line of four stars points to the place where the sun will rise on the 25th of December, from the point of the Northern Hemisphere. During the sun's "life" it will travel around the sky with it's 12 disciples (constellations). 22nd December, the Winter Solstice. The sun seems to rise lower and lower every day in Winter, until it doesn't perceivably rise any higher for 3 days, and rests on a point known as the Southern Cross, on the 22nd-25th December. With shorter, colder days, this would give the aura of death. After 3 days, the sun rises one degree. "God's son" has been reborn. Now you get the point, here's my question. ----- So, now that we don't have to take Heaven/Hell/God/A big book of sins seriously, doesn't mean we have to give up "love thy neighbour" does it?

I see so many on here doing so much finger pointing, but the ones that are doing the accusing, do they not see the three fingers pointing back?
Yes there is a crime problem in the black race. I admit it, I don't deny it, there is gang violence, drug sales, single mothers...
but the black race is being treated like the scourge of the Earth, like we are to blame for every ailment known to man, and it isn't fair.

I mention the black race because I am black, I cannot really speak for any other race, not because I am biased.

Being a very patriotic man i always stand for my country no matter what. No matter what anyone says this is the best country to live in,but it bothers me that our own people talk so negatively about things that we in all actuality have little knowledge about. Now please im no politician but im American thru and thru and you no we all know that no matter who gets in office they are not going to be good enough! Man or woman whoever gets in office the problems with them will be flying,what is bad will be characterized by the media as terrible, the trust in anyone is diminished when we listen to the media because all they care about is money not the trruth! Who will be watching, and what we can say that will devert people to our station rather that the others.
Being a Vietnam veteran we need to stick together America! Get that pride that the flag represents back, and stand tall! What can we do to get that pride back and stand behind our troops as well as our President!

That John 16:2 says: In fact the hour is coming when everyone that kills you will imagine he has rendered a sacred service to God. 3 But they will do these things because they have not come to know either the Father or me. Jesus was talking so he meant himself. So what religion who doesn't believe in Jesus or his father would believe by killing those who do would be doing a service to God?
