My Dad has witnessed footsteps, spirits, and strange things in his house since my mom passed in July 2003. He has lived there since 1978 and never had any situations like this before. Dad said he never believed in this until now. He's sharp as a tack, so nothing's imagined here. If it's my Mom, how can we know for sure and communicate?

...to be taught about sex? At what level of maturity?

He went on to ask if it were true that some "spiritual" lessons cannot be taught or learned, until a person reaches a certain level of "spiritual" maturity.

Is this a valid comparison?

Is there a correlation between learning deep complex issues, and maturity?

Is this so? Do some "spiritual" concepts require a certain level of "spiritual" maturity before one can learn anything from them, or even comprehend them?

If so, then how does one become "spiritually mature"?

Your courteous thoughts please.

Being with white women, are white women trophies to them? When they finally land a trophy white woman, do black men feel like winners? I guess it's understandable for them to feel like champions to be with a white woman.

I notice this especially in the Atheist vs. Christian questions. I go back and check and the best answer is more often or not just something that regurgitates the asker's viewpoint (which is usually fairly evident from the question)

Are we trying to get a true understanding and knowledge of each other or just trying to validate our own opinion?

NOW, THAT REMINDS ME

There were these two priests who rode bikes to church every Sunday. Well one day one of the priests showed up to work without his bike. The other priest asked where his bike was so the first priest said, "I don't know, but I think it got stolen!"

The other priest said, "Well what you do is read off the Ten Commandments, and when you get to "Thou shall not steal" someone will confess to the crime."

The next time the two saw each other the priest had his bicycle back. "I see you got your bike back! Did you do what I said?" the one priest said.

The other said, "Well kind of, when I was reading the commandments and I got to Thou Shall Not Commit Adultery, I seemed to remember where I had left it."

My friends and I are always arguing about tip. I say that we should always leave tip even when the bill comes with a 10% service charge. They say that the service charge is the tip. Eventually they all walk out and i end up leaving a tip from my own pocket alone. Should I continue doing this or are they right? Also how much as in appropriate tip?

Most scholars or educated people know that there is no such thing as a god. Its the less educated who need something to look forward to after death or just don't have the mental capacity to understand a world without a god. But what if we are wrong? If there is a god he might be upset that almost all "educated|" normal people never believed in him. All I can say is that if a god wanted most educated people to believe, he should make himself known. What do you all think?

Indian History : Supposedly written by a schoolboy with all original spellings:

The original inhabitants of ancient India were called Adidases, who lived in two cities called Hariappa and Mujhe-na-Daro. These cities had the best drain system in the world and so there was no brain drain from them Ancient India was full of myths which have been handed down from son to father. A myth is a female moth. A collection of myths is called mythology, which means stories with female caricatures. One myth says that people in olden times worshipped monkeys because they were our incestors.

In olden times there were two big families in India. One was called the Pandava and the other was called the Karova. They fought amongst themselves in a battle called Mahabharat, after which India came to be known as MeraBharat Mahan.

The Day of Judgement will happen after the universe is destroyed and then re-created.

The Trumpet will be blown and all things will be destroyed......

Then God will remake everything and he will make Paradise and Hellfire (they are not on this earth).

The earth will be re-made flat and then the trumpet will be blown again and all of the humans ever born will come out of the earth.... resurrected.

Then the Judging will start.... and that day will take thousands of years to finish.

Christians seem to have confused about the day of Judgement with some supposed resurrection which is to happen when Jesus returns.

Now I probably shoulden't ask this because Masons kill those who are not a Mason & knows thair secrets, but that's what this question is about. Now I bought this book from my job at goodwill, And it's really old. I know that for a fact. The book is raggady & in the book it says it was made in 1850. The books title is "New Masonic Trestle-Board". Now I have reasons to belive this might be the real deal & I have reasons to believe this isen't the real deal. The reasons why I think it might not be real is 1. In the front of the book thare's a tiny sticker saying: "Sold At Burnton's' Book, Music, And Cheap Publications Store, 241 Hudson St, N.Y." 2. On one of the first few pages it says that it's the Stereotype Edition. The reasons I have to believe that it is real is: 1. In the book it has prayers (And I think rituals too). 2. Thare are also symbols types in this book (Sorta like eygption writeing only a little more modrenized. But hardly more). 3. And thare's hymn like songs in here too.
