Maybe not kidding at all...perhaps a cradle Catholic [sprinkled @ 6 wks old and nothing afterwards?] figuring perhaps they're a Lifer With No Parole--that having sunk into most in this category.
Converting from the RC's to any Protestant denomination means at some point you need to start visiting various Protestant churches [look in Yellow Pages for these] which also means Virtual Reality--you in a pew, with an inquiring mind. Depending on which one you like best, your RC baptism may be sufficient--for certain Prot churches, however, you'll need to get fully immersed in a baptismal tank at the church since they don't regard an infant sprinkling as the Real Thing.
Won't cost anything beyond throwing a dollar in the offering basket during services...and [sorry for this, really] converting to a different "faith group" is something you can't do on-line. Either you want church or you don't want church, but [as with all the good things in life] it's an inside job. If you haven't been what is called a "practicing Catholic" -- haven't been to Mass since you were confirmed, lost your rosary, haven't made confession since confirmation and think the Pope is a Nazi, you're probably ripe anyway.
Seek! Inquire! Head for a better barn!

Online has nothing to do with conversion.
Protestantism is about belief; a belief that protests the teachings and practices of the Roman Catholic church.
Protestantism is going forward not running away from the biblical truth.

Just stop attending Catholic services and attend Protestant services - there is an abundance of Protestant sects, you should find one to suit. Some sects expect you to tithe, others allow some latitude. Some expect you to sign up, others just let you attend.
People converted from one religion to another for hundreds of years before the internet appeared, just do it.

I see all these answers and wonder if they actually know what they are talking about. It seems they think you should find one that suits your taste?
I would say that you would be better off using the gift that God gave you, that being common sense.
Why would you want to change from one to another with out testing what is true?
The way to test is using God's word the bible. read 2 Timothy 3:16. This tells you that its true and inspired of God.
Why would you want to know the truth?
Because the truth can cause you to live, live a lot longer and in good health.
By this time in your life you should know what God plans for his earth and where you fit in? That seems a pretty common sense thing to want to know?
If you have questions and want scriptural answers to these and all questions you might have, feel free to ask. the answers are free and on line

It's very easy to convert from the true Church founded by Jesus Christ to one of the thousands of unauthorized, conflicting manmade denominational churches. Just stop believing about half of what all Christians believed for 1,500 years after Christ. Decide just which truths you want to reject, and that will guide you to a specific denomination. That's the beauty of Protestantism. You don't have to adhere to any specific truth. You just find a denomination that teaches what you want to hear. In this way you can help to fulfill the biblical prophecy concerning the plague of denominationalism (2 Tim 4:3-4).

It does not cost anything to give your life to Jesus Christ. If the Holy Spirit is drawing you toward Christ then just go ahead and fall on Christ. Ask the Lord to save you, tell Him that you trust that He and He alone can and will save you from your sins. Tell Him that you believe that his sacrifice on the cross was sufficient to save you and the world. Repent of your sin and purpose to make Jesus the Lord and Master of your life.
Once you have done that get a bible and read the Gospel of John and 1,2,3rd John. That will give you a blueprint of new-testament Christianity. Then look for a healthy, well balanced church in your area. If you need help e-mail me and I will help you to find what you need.
You might want to log on to GTY.org and order the series of message by John MacArthur on the Pope and Papacy. Purgatory, and Marion worship. That will give you a biblical way to explain where you were and where you want to be now.
I will pray that you come to Christ today. Was that fast enough and on-line enough. I will check my mail to see if you have any questions.

Christianity is free. If you do not wish to be of Catholic faith, then attend some protestant churches and see what fits your beliefs. It doesn't cost anything to become a member of God's family. God bless.

I doubt it. I think all you have to do is stop going to the Catholic church and find a protestant one.

Belief is what you choose yourself. If you are talking 'logistics' then I suppose just start attending a protestant church instead of a catholic one. Many former catholics enjoy presbyterian or lutheran services.
