Why are there so many versions. Please explain.

When you consider that given the supposed dimensions of
the thing, that it would have been packed to the gunwales
with BUGS before any of the larger animals could be marched
two-by-two up the gangplank?
How did they keep the animal s**t from building up so deep
that there wasn't room for the animals? Decomposers you say? That's a lot of work for two earthworms to do! (Or two dung beetles, or whatever...) How would
Noah's family have time to do anything (such as eating, sleeping, ect.) with all that s**t to shovel?
Also who got to carry the tapeworms, intestinal nematodes, pubic lice and so on? These organisms CAN'T SURVIVE
outsideof a human host! (Did Noah and his family draw straws
for that one, maybe?) Were all the animals similarly infected with THEIR species-specific parasites? The ark is sounding like a nastier place by the minute..!
And what about all the disease germs, ect. (including fun things like the leprosy bacillus, or the smallpox virus?)

It says in the Bible in Leviticus 19:19 that I must not wear clothing made of two different kinds of material.

I am very worried. God himself says this to Moses so it is really serious. I wear socks made of cotton and lycra. Does this mean that I am damned to hell? Please help me.

Ok team, a friend called an hour ago and left a message, instead of listening to the message I called her back. I begin the usual line of questions like, what up?
She replied, did you listen to your message?
I said no and she wasn't happy.

I believe with friends you can go either way (listen or call back)and for professional issues you should listen to messages first.

What do you think???
What's the correct ettiquette?
Would it be the same for a friend or client?

*Ugh* Today I had to deal with some random rude idiots, and I won't go into detail, but they angered me to the point that I wanted to physically retaliate against them. I hadn't felt that offended in a while, and I was so shocked, that I wanted to skip the cordials and go straight to punching them in the face... So my question is how do you, personally, handle random strangers you don't know who anger you to the point that you want to physically hurt them?... I swear I'm not emo, but sometimes these situations are really frustrate me and make me wonder why some people are allowed to breathe the same air as me.

I've been an atheist for quite some time now and while I do have a different world view than I did as a believer, I find I'm not living my life any different. I feel like I'm constantly looking over my own shoulder making sure I'm living the life I think I want to or should be living, but all I can find myself doing is living a normal, uneventful life counting down the days until I cease to exist. I feel lke I should be doing something more, you know "living life to the fullest" or whatever. Anyone know what I mean or in the same boat?

Way back in about 2000-2001, I was lucky to have a few people "pray" for me, that I may be able to see "the truth," find the religion that preaches it, and get "saved" from it all, and end up having a wonderful relationship with God, and what not.

I was totally immature, a high school student, and an unbeliever. Then somehow, someway, I ended up going to a christian private school for college, met the right people, came across the right literature, and literally discovered God. I knew somehow after about a year and a half of actually living the way God would want me to live, that I was "saved." Whatever you want to call it. I don't want to discuss heaven/hell all that here, b/c of the MANY unbelievers. It can sound corny.
Lets just say I was a good person, however I had one big problem.

I was very curious as to how evil operated, because I wasn't evil at heart ,and wanted to discover their ways, and was actually impressed by the "power" of evil. So, out I went

what cannot be answered. Instead of having many religions each trying in a different way to answer questions to which we will never know the answers (at least not in this life), why don't we just admit that we don't know. That, incidentally, is the one area where an intelligent atheist and an intelligent Christian could find common ground. Admit you don't know.
(And now will come the answers from people who will insist that they do know. Some people can't even be honest with themselves!)

Atheists see humans as exactly like any other form of life.
Why do believers insist we are singled out as special?

We all are born.
We all have good times and bad.
We both interact and spend time alone.
Eventually we die.

Those words equally well describe earthworms & emus, cows & cuckoos, geckos & goldfish, hawks & humans. Perhaps even pines & periwinkle.

What reason do Believers have to smugly feel that humans have some special fate? Why is such belief not simply a perpetuation of ancient myth?

Our money system is currently backed by nothing, it is only legal tender, Ron Paul wants to restore the gold standard, so that our money doesn't keep dropping in value.

This is very important as it has been shown in history that currencies without backup of value crash and become worthless.

Also we are currently getting our currency from the Federal Reserve Bank, this bank is no more federal then Fed ex. It is a privately owned central bank with no regulations on currency production, congress has no control of it. no wonder it says in god we trust on it.

On top of that we are paying interests on our money because we loan it from this bank, so we keep loaning more and more to pay the interests, this keeps going and going and going.

Between psyhiatrists and therapist is on vacation. ER told me to be under 'survailance' until I see a doctor. Have been being 'watched' by my family taking turns so I don't hurt myself.

I used to use Answers as an escape when I was alone, but now I can't. People think that becasue I am being faithful to family/culture I can't have certain religious beleifs, when my family is fine with it. I aslo have been told (and people agree) that these values instilled in my family and their family are 'stolen from the bible'.

I don't expect you to want to pray for me, but I request you pray for eachother and I'll pray for the so called "open-minded" people who think that everyone who is conservative is a harm to society and should be insulted.

I'm not sure i completely buy into either exclusively but i was thinking,there is a third option.mutation isnt the answer.

Could God just Have put His finger on our heart,
We are seperate and above from animals,this is an unargueable fact,this could only have come from God.

If there is just a single cell in our body that is not a progression or mutation then thats evolution shown for what it is,half an answer.

I hosted a BBQ yesterday and I noticed a few people pulled my shower curtain back (humm?) and I heard my bathroom cabinets being opened. I had toliet paper and a hand towels insight. WTH! Am I the only one that thinks this is a little strange and invasive? Why do people so this??
