Why do some white people complain about things set up for minorities?

Question

Channels like B.E.T, AZN, Telemundo.
And even minority based clubs and the NAACP.

I really want to know why.

To all of you whites who say it's not fair. Think about it.

YOU do have these things, they're just called People magazine, ABC, and alot of scholarship funds

B.E.T wasn't handed out to us. A black man started it but now it's owned by a white man.

Bottom line:

They don't want to see Black people or minorities succeed. They'd be happy if things were as bad off for people of color not even 50 years ago.

Some forms of human sludge only feel that advantages and equality is one-sided, only for them and obviously this doesn't make any sense. It's sheer evil and so deeply entrenched that it probably won't escape their thinking or conduct any time too soon. We have to just keep pressing on, more programs, more avenues, scholarships, us making things happen ---- because they surely won't make it happen.

What bothers me is that it has always been a huge struggle for just the basics of equality, esp. here in America. We always have to work so much harder, and I for one am sick of it, but they will not recognize equality, so on with the back-binding work. I say: "ON WITH IT"!! We must; who else will?

Because they hold the minority groups back by perpetuating stereotypes. And the minority (special interest) groups only enjoy it because you like having something thats not white. Your willing to abuse the things that whitey has provided for all, but you dont want to associate yourself with him in any way. So youve created your own channels, radio broadcasts, clothing, etc. Youve polarized everyone around you, and you wonder why the cops are profiling. Enjoy

most of the reasons are because "white" people don't have organizations. we dont have a white entertainment television network. most minorities believe that most of the world is setup for the white population. that we have nbc and all corporations. it all goes back to reverse racism. what happened in the 30's and 40's with slavery is history to me. what happened in the 1800-1900s was terrible, but again history. we live in a racist world. i have received racist threats and have been singled out because of my race. i believe it should be a level playing ground. no one should be treated better than anyone.

because it's wrong for people to get things based strictly by race people shoudl get things based on merit. If minorities want to prove that they are just as useful to society let them put the same work into it that everyone does and earn things based on their abilities (I've known blacks that outperformed whites in school, sports, and language skills and earned what they got and didn't have it handed to them).

It's why we have the stereotypes, the gender bias, the racial slurs. We resist change and if people feel power is being taken away is when the name-calling begins.

Because for so very long, minorities wanted to be the SAME and integrate with everything - which was absolutely wonderful! Then, they started wanting their own specific minority-based things again. Think how it would look if there were a tv network called White Entertainment Television!
