He definitely has that look (and I am Catholic).
This is based upon Aristotle's principle that the soul is the form of the body, so what is in the soul appears on the body (particularly the face) - this metaphysic was reiterated by St. Thomas Aquinas.
With a certain subtlety of discernment, a person's character can be seen on his face.
Benedict is totally unlike John Paul II who had such a look of peace on his face, and whose being radiated the holiness of God.
The World Wide Warning has already occurred, as Garabandal was a true prophecy (as Medjugorje is not, as those seers are laughing all the way to the bank, Fr. Gobbi also is false - Fatima, surprisingly, is also false, but Lourds, Divine Mercy, and Sacred Heart are true - the devil is very clever, he is vastly more clever and powerful than we can imagine, with a malice to match - as for Fatima, most souls *do not* go to hell for sins of the flesh - although sins of the flesh certainly exist, there are far graver sins, such as positive malice towards others and satanic pride, which alone merit eternal punishment - approval of private revelation is not a statement by the Church that it is true, but a declaration that nothing in it contradicts the the teachings of the Church, clearing the way for Catholics to recognize it from that perspective - if approval is not a statement of its truth as a revelation from God, then logically it is possible for it to be false, even if it is approved).
So the prediction of Garabandal was indeed correct in that three more (valid) popes would reign before the World Wide Warning.
Evil is now working in an exceedingly subtle way, with a working of evil never seen before in the history of the human race.

I know! I hate to admit it but it's true... Maybe it's just appearance. I have a cousin that is scared of him and can't even see him on TV. Although I am not a Catholic anymore I have to recognize that anyways he is the Pope and we all should respect him and recognize him as of he is, the Pope. Anyways I am neutral to whatever he says. I used to like John Paul better, I miss him!

It is wrong to judge a person on their appearance and mannerisms. We all have different gifts. What matters is their fruits. Benedict appears to be undiplomatic and reactionary, an intellectual who uses his knowledge to retreat into the past rather than engage with the present. He understandably upbraids the world for its selfish materialism, and he has expressed some interest in environmental issues, but on the whole, his fruit is not something I would care to buy. Actually, I dislike him for many of the same reasons I did not like JP II. I haven't seen a decent pope since John XXIII.

Helloooooo......What's global warming? start of hell right, soon it would be too warm for people to endure the temperature, that's God's punishment to those who betray Him and worship other gods such as idols, four footed beast, creeping thing and alike. Halaaaa, it's coming, you gonna get it....
God loves you, but if you don't love God back, you're in for a surprise, imagine, He gives you everything you have and the least you could say is thank you. But noooo, instead you thank a tree(wooden statue) or cement perhaps. Look, you raise a kid, gave him everything, love, financial support, and all he needs. He grows up and thanks someone else for all he's got, how would you feel? Pretty upset I suppose...same thing.

Evil
Adjective
1. Morally bad or wrong (Keeping the Laws of Yahweh is morally right); "evil purposes"; "an evil influence"; "evil deeds".
2. Having the nature of vice.(sexual abuse)
3. Tending to cause great harm. (Breaking Yahweh's Laws causes great harm, is this Pope teaching you to keep the Laws that will keep you from harming yourself? No.)
4. Having or exerting a malignant influence; "malevolent stars"; "a malefic force". (Whore that sits on the seven mountains Rev 17:9)
I can see why you are thinking that, not to mention the sexual abuses that is hardly spoken of by this pope, like he condones it.
I guess evil does describes him.

Yes, he doesn't have the gentle look that people are so used to seeing in Pope John Paul.
In addition, he's not tactful and diplomatic like his predecessor.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder--your right none of us should judge by looks. You are just stating a truth from your prospective--something you can work on.

Charm is deceptive and beauty fleeting. (Proverbs 31:30)
Surely a mature and spiritual person like you does not judge a book by its cover or a person by what he or she looks like.
I wonder what you will look like when you are 80 years old?
With love in Christ.
