Amen sister!! don't be discouraged by the negative comments you will get. Satan hates to have Jesus talked about like this. This is a battle and Jesus has ALREADY WON!!

Ya know, I guess it's because God swooping down, impregnating a virgin, resulting in the birth of a man-god, who is then used as a human virgin pagan blood sacrifice for sin to appease the god, who then goes to the underworld and re-emerges after 3 day, then becomes a ghosty and flies up to not rejoin his original body, but sit beside himself on his original body's right hand side (even though they are the same body), and then eating his body and drinking his blood in ritualistic cannablism and vampirism, and then turning him into God and worshipping him - or his ghost .......
I dunno, I just really can't get into that. I guess I could if I'd been born an ancient greek or baal worshipper or something - you know, the guys who had these religious practices and beliefs before Christianity picked it up from them.
Good luck with that though!

Oh, I can see just fine. And Jesus sure isn't the picture. I don't actually need to be saved. I refuse to worship anyone or anything, real or imaginary, living or dead. God does not exist, never has, and never will. My life has purpose in my family and my well being. And I'm quite happy.

If Jesus is the only way, then it really sucks for all those people who were born before Jesus came along, or who lived in parts of the world where they didn't hear about Jesus until the missionaries reached them. If your God requires hearing about and accepting Jesus as a condition of salvation under those circumstances, then He is a capricious monster and I would rather die than bow down to Him.

Unfortunately for you, I can unequivocally say that you're wrong. There are millions of belief systems, and yours is not the same one as the next person, which is the same reason you're not right! Lay off the mushrooms, call a therapist in the morning.
Its also people like you that I wouldn't leave my children with. I'd be too afraid that they'd get a holier than thou complex. But then again, thank Sasquatch I don't have kids.

When you say it like that I don't need him. I don't need to be saved, because my soul is pure. I am a good person that does good things, and when I do bad things I learn from them. I think if everyone acted more like Jesus the world would be wonderful, but I don't need to be saved, most of the people that tell me that are hipocrites anyway.

I see you are definitely solid in your faith. The problem is that Jesus is long dead, if he even existed at all, so putting him in my life is going to be tough. What method do you suggest?

Many people have suffered worse deaths than Jesus for what they believe in...
Why worship him?

I would really like to agree with you, but can't.
We don't go to heaven.
Jesus is not God almighty.
Those ideas are not Biblical.
