Would allow 9/11, as flawed as the evidence may be, but what God allows cancer, and young babies to die in their mothers' arms, and floods, and sickness, and genocide, and what God lets people in America not care about it?!

To work the math on Daniel's 7+62 weeks, you need to go with the decree to rebuild Jerusalem in Neh 2, about 445 BC. If you work with a 360 day year, from Gen 6&7, then 483 of those years lands you at Passover AD 33.

I know the Lord said no one can know the time or season...

But... suppose we have a 2,000 year church age beginning with the stoning of Stephen. If we guesstimate that that was 42 months after Calvary, a fair guess, and I made a bit of a rash guess at Apr 23, AD33 for Calvary, check this out:

Apr 23, 33 + 1260 days + (2000 * 360) days = Jan 18, 2008

State of Israel: May 14, 1948 + (60 * 360) days = July 4, 2007

2007 - 1776 = 231 years = 7 * 33

Isn't that interesting? General church-age rapture in the next six months? I think it's really going to happen. I could be wrong. I can't afford to bank on it. But I think it's really going to happen.

Fascinating, huh.

If an atheist were to attend church for the sole purpose of learning; to better understand not only the principles of religon, but observe the culture and ideas behind it, would you look upon it negatively?

Some argue that if atheists deny the existence of God, they should not be welcomed into his House, while others state that they are only attempting to learn, they should be able to attend without fear of subjecting themselves to unnecessary criticism. Your thoughts?

I get up, get my coffee and play a few games just to kick my brain into gear to where it can function. I like mahjong, and bejewelled, and free cell. When my daughter was talking to me we have a great time playing Wheel of Fortune via msn messenger - I do crosswords, and watch Jeopardy as well.

I cannot get the hang of sudoku, yet - it takes me awhile to figure things out.

I find playing games wake up my brain, how about the rest of you?

1 Chronicles 16:30: “He has fixed the earth firm, immovable.”

Psalm 93:1: “Thou hast fixed the earth immovable and firm ...”

Psalm 96:10: “He has fixed the earth firm, immovable ...”

Psalm 104:5: “Thou didst fix the earth on its foundation so that it never can be shaken.”

Isaiah 45:18: “...who made the earth and fashioned it, and himself fixed it fast...”

Daniel 4:10-11. In Daniel, the king “saw a tree of great height at the centre of the earth...reaching with its top to the sky and visible to the earth's farthest bounds.” If the earth were flat, a sufficiently tall tree would be visible to “the earth's farthest bounds,” but this is impossible on a spherical earth.

Matthew 4:8 says, “Once again, the devil took him to a very high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world [cosmos] in their glory.” Obviously, this would be possible only if the earth were flat.

Revelation 1:7: “Behold, he is coming with the clouds! Every eye shall see him...”

Ever since I moved to my house in Florida, I've been seeing a eyeless boy or something that usually is in the living room or my bedroom. Not only that, but I also see a gray cat. I only see parts of them sometimes, but I can see them fully very rarely. Even though the image of them is in the corner of my eye, or a can feel a strange presence, I know they're there. One time, the boy was even in one of my dreams. I was in the house, and then noticed a man calling in a rage. I noticed a boy with shaggy hair similar to the ghost come out of the kitchen and go out. A few minute later, there was screaming. I then woke up to see a glimpse of the ghost. I know it sounds like some freaky story a child would say, but this has been happening to me more and more often. Are my eyes, dreams, and sense of presence tricking me? Or is it possible I can see ghosts?
