To work the math on Daniel's 7+62 weeks, you need to go with the decree to rebuild Jerusalem in Neh 2, about 445 BC. If you work with a 360 day year, from Gen 6&7, then 483 of those years lands you at Passover AD 33.

I know the Lord said no one can know the time or season...

But... suppose we have a 2,000 year church age beginning with the stoning of Stephen. If we guesstimate that that was 42 months after Calvary, a fair guess, and I made a bit of a rash guess at Apr 23, AD33 for Calvary, check this out:

Apr 23, 33 + 1260 days + (2000 * 360) days = Jan 18, 2008

State of Israel: May 14, 1948 + (60 * 360) days = July 4, 2007

2007 - 1776 = 231 years = 7 * 33

Isn't that interesting? General church-age rapture in the next six months? I think it's really going to happen. I could be wrong. I can't afford to bank on it. But I think it's really going to happen.

Fascinating, huh.

We do not know the exact base dates. Calvary may not be 33 on our calendar: we could be off by a year or two (as the wise men of Mt.2 were). We do not know, or have much cause to believe that it would be 2,000 years exactly. Nor do we know for sure if the stoning of Stephen was really the start, or what that gap was. There's a little give and take.

All I am showing is that the math does produce some interesting date results and that it does suggest an imminent rapture event.

What we do know is that the Laodicean church gets the rapture and we are very definitely in it.

We do know that the president of Iran (Persia) believes in the annihilation of Israel, and he believes in using nuclear weapons to accomplish that end. And we are seeing a Persian alliance and anti-Semitism coming out of Russia. So things are kind of ripe for Eze 38 type events.

I think you atheists will finally be rid of us Christians in the next six months. Then if you survive the event, you can deal with AC.

I do believe the Lord's statement on not knowing the time or season. But I also believe a scripture that says to be alert and to watch the signs. I believe both, as any Christian should.

Your math is interesting. However, Jesus said that we know not the hour or the day of his return. We will see signs of the season approaching (wars and rumors of war, earthquakes in diverse places, etc) but we do not know the exact day.

I do believe He is coming again soon, we just don't know exactly when.

Note to Brian, the Hebrew lunar year, which the prophecies of the old testament refer to , was only 360 days. That is why Brother Andrew based his calculations on 360 days instead of 365.

So you DON'T believe the portion of scripture where Jesus speaks, yet you calculate the end times based on one interpretation of another portion of scripture?
