Would allow 9/11, as flawed as the evidence may be, but what God allows cancer, and young babies to die in their mothers' arms, and floods, and sickness, and genocide, and what God lets people in America not care about it?!

Actually, the god of the bible would allow, and even encourage scourge and plagues , racism and wars, death and incest, suicide and murder along with some of his other rather curious hobbies. Thank you.

If you have a child and you ask it not to do something and you walk away and when you come back it had done what you asked it not to do. Why did you let the child do this thing. God gave us a free will and he gave us instruction on what he wants us to do. If we do not is it his fought. We blame him for so much don't we. God is a loving God let us pray that we can be in his will Amen. God bless

They have no explanation for this besides "free will" and "god works in mysterious ways". Both of which you have to abandon logic and common sense to embrace

A God who loves and respects us enough to give us genuine freedom! And with that freedom comes total responsibility for what we do with it. So we can no longer ask "why did God do this?" or "why did God allow that?". Because we are totally free, we must ask, "why did we do this?", and "why did we allow that?".
