I know it's a show, but I mean, people are always saying "wow, it feels like i'm in the twilight zone." I've never watched the show, but everyone says this, and i'm extremely confused. Anyone know?... I had no idea which category to put this in, so don't go all psycho on me lol...

I went this afternoon to hand in my resume at a few stores in mall. I went to hand in my resume (for a cashier job) to the manager at a clothing store. The manager talked to with me for about 5 minutes about my availability. She also described to me about the overtime and how much I had to be committed. She sounded really nice and everything. But I'm just wondering, if she was wasting her time to talk to me about all this, does this mean the chances are high that, that store is hiring right now? and if so, does it seem like they want to hire me? should i expect a call for an interview for about a week or more?

My neighbor gave me a really nice kitchen table (solid oak), a really nice couch & lazy boy recliner, a dresser and a really cute vanity w/ mirror & some other smaller things. I asked her how much she wanted to give her for all that & she said it wouldn't fit in her trailer, so if I didn't take it she was just going to throw it away. Which is good cuz I don't have much money right now. So how can I show my appreciation for all this stuff? She leaves 5am tomorrow!!

Simply saying "we exist" or "nature" or "the universe" etc is not the answer im looking for. I want to know what makes YOU, personally, believe God exists. Dont tell me something that some one else has told you. Dont tell me something that some book told you. Tell me what YOU beleieve. YOUR personal answer. If its an answer that some one told you, than thats not the answer im looking for. Ascertain for yourself the existance fo God.

I understand Pascal's Wager ((drink if you want)) suggests that a Christian would lose nothing if they their beliefs are false. Personally, I disagree.

I just want to do an experiment...Just flip the bible (or other book) and randomly put your finger on a verse/sentence. You don't have to type the verse out (if its a verse), just leave a scripture reference. If you're not using a Bible or another Holy book, I guess you'll have to type the sentence out or just list the name of the book and page number etc. Please really do try to keep it random... and thanks :)

I am a Christian and I am waiting for Jesus to come and pick me up to heaven. But honestly, we Chrisitians have been waiting for him for so long and it doesn't seem like he is coming any time soon. If the day that I die and I find out that all about Jesus' second coming was a bluff I would be very dissapointed. What about the rest of you, will you be dissapointed the day you find out that Jesus will never come?
