How do you feel about the following:

"Women's Right of Permission
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "A matron should not be given in marriage except after consulting her; and a virgin should not be given in marriage except after her permission." The people asked, "O Allah's Apostle! How can we know her permission?" He said, "Her silence (indicates her permission)." (Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 67)

Narrated Khansa bint Khidam Al-Ansariya that her father gave her in marriage when she was a matron and she disliked that marriage. So she went to Allah's Apostle and he declared that marriage invalid. (Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 69)"

Maybe more Muslims should know about this Sura, or was this Sura "abrogated" by a later Sura, making this one invalid?

“When We substitute one revelation for another [verse, sign, Rodwell]—and God knows best what He reveals (in stages),—they say, ‘Thou art but a forger’: But most of them understand not.” (An explanatory footnote in Rodwell’s version states: “The Muslims admit that there are 225 verses cancelled by later ones.”) And again: “None of Our revelations do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but We substitute something better or similar: Knowest thou not that God hath power over all things?”—Sura 2:106; 16:101, Ali.

That talks about a "matron".

And when a six year old virgin is married, does any six year old know what marriage is?

Can any six year old?

So the silence of a six year old means she consents?

You have just proved Islam to be an evil sex cult.

Something I've been saying for years.

And a Muslim woman HAS to perform sex for her husband or she faces being beaten with the blessing of the Quran.

Women, even Muslim women in America, can bring rape charges against a husband who takes her when she says NO.

In American women have a right to say NO

To anything

'Her silence' is the key word here.
In most muslim families the girl has no say, she must remain silent, she knows what will happen if she says anything.

'Her Silence' indicates her permission, this is a joke, imagine a court hearing that relies on silence to pass a verdict' Ha!!!

Forced marriage is still widely practiced in many middle eastern countries. That is the reality of it.

From the Koran:

2:221 "Wed not idolatresses till they believe; for lo! a believing bondwoman is better than an idolatress though she please you; and give not your daughters in marriage to idolaters till they believe, for lo! a believing slave is better than an idolater though he please you. These invite unto the Fire."

2:223 "Your women are a tilth for you (to cultivate) so go to your tilth as ye will."

4:3 "Marry of the women, who seem good to you, two or three or four."

4:15 "Women who are guilty of lewdness ... confine them to the houses until death take them."

4:20 "And if ye wish to exchange one wife for another...."

4:24 "And all married women (are forbidden unto you) save those (captives) whom your right hands possess."

4:34 "Men are in charge of women, because Allah hath made the one of them to excel the other, and because they spend of their property (for the support of women). So good women are the obedient, guarding in secret that which Allah hath guarded. As for those from whom ye fear rebellion, admonish them and banish them to beds apart, and scourge them."

64:14-15 "O ye who believe! Lo! among your wives ... there are enemies for you, therefor beware of them."
