There are tons of verses on that. For example here are a couple in John chapter 4.

A samaritan woman acknowledges Jesus is Jewish.

"The Samaritan woman said to him, "You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?") (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.)"

And Jesus acknowleges he's Jewish saying, " You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews."

According to the Bible. There were 12 ''tribes'' of Hebrew people. Judah (Jews) were one of them. In the old testament other countries taking over the areas that the Hebrews lived in took most of these people into captivity. The two ''tribes'' that came back to the homeland were the Jews and the Levites. The Jesus of the bible was descended from the ''tribe'' of Judah therefore he would have been a Jew. All Jews are Hebrews but not all Hebrews are Jews.

John 4
7 When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, "Will you give me a drink?" 8 (His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.)

9 The Samaritan woman said to him, "You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?" (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.)

He was when he was made manifest into human form. He fulfilled the Law however, and so was not accepted as a traditional by the Jewish community. He also belonged to the house of David.

Of course he is Jewish. If your mother was Jewish, then you are Jewish; and his mother was Jewish!
Besides, he was supposedly from the lineage of King David--who was JEWISH.

What else would he be? Not christian, that's for sure. And he was always referring to the Jewish scriptures.

No verse, I think it's just kind of obvious. What else could he be?
