I have a neighbor that constantly tells me what to do as if I am a child. Recently I found out the cherry Pepsi bottle that she has with her all of the time is not that at all. It's wine.By the end of the day-when she's pretty hammered, she will say the most stupid things..she once told a little neighbor girl that she may have a brain tumor ...because she had a headache.
Personally she has walked into my house uninvited,coments about my breasts, and has told me that I have no class because I wore a halter dress when I wAS GOING OUT WITH MY FIANCE'. (I wore that dress at my sisters wedding-my sister picked it out)How can I tell this woman in a kind way...to mind her own business?

I used to believe the Rapture would Happen before the anti Christ came back, but I have study this more and Im not so sure. why do you think it will happen then? and nor in the middle or the end, I lean more torwards the middle. yes I read all the left behind series. great books by the way!!!. But I do not believe that we will not be here to see the Anti Christ, God warned us we would and that even the most elect will be decieved, and that he would protect us during this time. but I dont think we will go through the worst of it. we will be spared that.

I've got about 3 days of "stuff to do" covered. Any suggestions of what I could do with this guy?

What I know about Marco: he's from near Milan, going to the University next year and he likes motocross. That's all I know. I live on an island north of Seattle. I was going to muck around by the ocean with him, take him on a ferry through the islands and spend a day in Seattle.

I'm a parent of teen girls and not quite sure what he'd find interesting (besides, possibly, my teen girls). Any ideas?

Before anyone gets on their high horse, just calm down, take a few deep breaths, I am an atheist just making an observation. To me, communism works in some countries because of the ‘underdog’ mentality. The leaders of these people seem to place a lot of emphasis on strengthening the impression that they are competing against people who aren’t like them – that they are a minority competing against a majority. This seems to fire up the people and gives them a flag under they can rally their troops.

Atheism is a lot like this too, wouldn’t you say?

Do you believe that it is possible to create an standard language of the languages romances?
The Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan, Frenchman, Italian, Rumanian, Romansch and others, Are all dialects of an alone language; the Latin, now died.

It is possible create a standard language of them?
This way as the standard German, who was constructed from the German dialects.

The Esperanto is not a language romance, though it is a good option as an international language, since it includes families like Germanic languages and others.

Literature pertaining to the bible and its origins?

Hello, my names Peter and i'm looking for some information regarding the bible. First of all I would like only Factual answers please; for the benefit of me and all readers. This may be a couple questions:

Q1) before the KJV bible; what was there? Scripts that were translated to the KJV bible?What was the substance that was translated to the KJV bible, and what was the substance origin/dateof making/language.

Q2)What language was the substance written in? old and new testament; what language?

Q3) Anyone know of a good website I can find information regarding these questions.

Q4) What Factual proof is there that the bible is 100 percent factual and has not been polluted with man's design and not GOD's since there are many translations out there like NIV KJV etc.?

Q5) What proof is there that the bible is actually from GOD?

I believe there are a lot of people who lie like this out of necessity to protect themselves. I spent some time in texas and Ok. I lied the entire time because if I didn't they would have burned me at the stake.

For example, when you steal all the time & then decide that you're not gonna steal anymore, some smartass always says, "Yeah, um hmm. You're gonna go RIGHT back to doing it again! 'cuz I don't believe NOTHIN' you say." Like I owe them an answer!

I used stealing as an example, but you can apply it to a lot of things in life, like smoking, lying, speeding, doing drugs, etc.

BTW, I don't do these things, but someone gave me a dirty answer when I asked a question on here about trying to do the right things in life & start respecting my body, & someone said, "Yeah, you're gonna go RIGHT back to being promiscuous again!"

What is it about Christianity that gives it so much strength, so much of a grip on our hearts and minds, so much empowerment and pull on our mental state?

9 times out of 10 an Atheist simply doesn't disbelieve in God, he has a rebuttal for specific facets of Christianity, he pins himself in a specific convictional-arena in relation to where Christianity is.

Is it the Devil vs. God sentiment, is it the frightening concept of Hell, is it the after-life scenarios? It is Jesus Christ? What is it? Why does this religion "Christianity" have so much influence on this earth.
