"College students should not put off creating families until they have completed all of their studies, an LDS Church apostle said Sunday.

Elder Russell M. Nelson, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, also reminded young adult members of a church's family proclamation that declares marriage to be a union of a legally wedded man and woman."

I think that Mormons are the only Christians who take the 1st commandment seriously. Pretty much everyone else puts off marriage until their late 20s or early 30s when they're done partying and sleeping around. Then they wait 4 or 5 years before having children. They have maybe 1 trophy child or possibly a playmate for that child as well. They tell everyone that they believe in families and family values but mostly they're self centered and feel that marriage and family would stand in the way of their career or their quest for money, power and prestige.

Mormons don't have large families to increase membership. In fact, more than half of all Mormons are converts. Meaning they were not born into LDS families, but joined the church later in life.

Mormons believe that true joy and happiness come from family relationships, not from possessions or physical pleasures.

A friend of mine once made the observation that, if you wait till you can afford to have kids, you will never have them.

Quit picking on the LDSs... their religion is as valid, actually, as fake as yours.
Religion is a fog of the mind.
