This fifth time I'll lay a file on the table. It is a short story by Bram Stoker that was cut from the original "Dracula," because it was too long, but published after Stokers death.

P.S. I'm not going to send this out to anyone who doesn't specifically ask for it as this isn't anything like the other "educational" files I send.

If there is enough interest I'll continure to modernize more files and put up questions as to who might want them. No, there are no strings attached. This kind of thing goes with being an Elder and Librarian of the Lore.

If this file would be of use to you, send me an Answers e-mail with an e-mail address to which I can attach the files. The files have too many characters to post on Answers.

Click on my avatar and check my "fans." That's all I can say. You would be surprised at how careful I am with these files--I have about 20, 000. It's your choice, but please don't scare away those that might wish to avail themselves of these files.

More specifically, our government as well as our society, is worried about hurting the feelings and infringing on the rights of people of various religions, spiritual beliefs as well as people with NO beliefs, but they SEEM to have no problem with sidestepping the rights of Christians.

As a Christian I have nothing personally against people of other faiths(that would be hypocritical), Im just asking this question because of my experiences as a Christian.

What do you think of this?

"WILL THE GOOD ACTIONS OF NON-BELIEVERS BE WASTED?

No. The Quraan clearly states that, "Anyone who has an atom's worth of goodness will also see it." By that it is meant that those who do not believe but have done good, they will be rewarded in this world for their good deeds. On the other hand, those who do good and have the beliefs like Muslims, will be rewarded not only in this world but also in the world Hereafter. However, the final judgment is up to God Himself. (Quraan 2:62)"

If this is true, wouldn't it be in opposition to what the scriptures tell us? The scriptures tell us that there was no death in the world until AFTER sin entered in. If there was no death up until the time Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, how could they have evolved? Evolution cannot exist without first the existence of death.

Furthermore, if Adam, a man, was made first, and was walking around in the garden, eating fruit and naming animals long before Eve was even a thought on his mind...(do you see where I'm going with this?) What was there, a human race of males only that somehow continued evolving to include women later on?

Worldliness, is something I see in christians everyday. Christians are all to quick to spend their money on worldly entertainment, cloths, expensive vacations, the latest of everything. But I know how cheap they can be when it comes to tipping a good waitress, or giving a poor old homeless guy a little money. I know, I have been around the christian commuity as an ordained Minister for some time now. I am fifty seven years old, and I started the church thing when I was a six years old, thats over fifty years of experience.

Don't get me wrong, there are some christians that are walking with the Lord. God fearing men and women whom I admire and respect for their true christian lives. But I am sorry to say, they are the minority.

It would do us as christians, a great deal of good to read the sermons of some of the great preachers of the Great Awakening. Spurgen, whitfield, and such, these men of God spoke right out of the Holy Bible, without moving to the left or the right.

Amen

How can they possibly believe that everything just "happened" one day!? Just look around at the beauty of the earth! Does it look like it just "happened"?

If I took a wrist watch and took it all apart, all those little gears and everything. And then I threw all the little pieces up into the air, would they come down all together, assembled and ticking?

I don't think so! But that is exactly what atheist's believe. That things just happened.

Does the Pope's proclaimation that 'there is substantial evidence supporting evolution' change your views?
i.e. 'evolution is fake'
'evolution is just a theory'
'evolution is Satan's work'

I see people saying how the serpent lied.

this is utterly untrue, th way the text presents the situation in genesis... the serpent did not lie once.

Genesis 1:17: "but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it; for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.'"

this really quite clearly presents it as god saying that they would die, like it being poisoned. that they would eat it, and they would die. this does not infer some sort of spiritual death, but physical death.

Genesis 2:3-4 : "but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, G-d hath said: Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.' And the serpent said unto the woman: 'Ye shall not surely die; for G-d doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as G-d, knowing good and evil.'"

Did you know that we do not worship Muhammad (PBUH)? What do you think of this quote?

"DO MUSLIMS WORSHIP MUHAMMAD? (Peace and blessings of God be upon him)

No. Muslims do not worship Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) or any other Prophets. Muslims believe in all Prophets including Aadam, Noah, Abraham, David, Solomon, Moses, and Jesus. Muslims believe that Muhammad (Peace and blessings of God be upon him) was the last of the Prophets. They believe that only God is to be worshipped, not human beings or anything else."

Some people state that they were born with original sin and need to be redeemed. They are sure of it. I have no reason to doubt them .Just like I'm sure I was born with a clean slate and there is no reason for anyone to doubt it. (Please do not debate this in your answer as it will only show you don't listen when told the facts and make things up to suit yourself)

i dont talk about the attitude religious people have because what they consider their god tells them, i am just talking about believing in a higher entity.
Are we humans able to believe in a higher entity without creating a religion that only serves to label us and separate us from the rest, thus making us the good ones and the rest the bad?
Is the attitude that most religious people have nowadays the logical attitude that derives from the main idea: "there is a god"?
