I read that only about 15% of Americans have actually gone to college and earned a degree. This means that 85% of Americans were too stupid to get into college or too stupid to finish college. Why does it not surprise me that the majority of Americans are too stupid to get into college or finish college while at the same time the majority of Americans believe in creationism? Maybe it's just a coincidence.

Seriously. The "There are no atheists in foxholes" brigade always seem to assume that just before we die we'll desperately cling to the possibility that life might go on after death. Me, I'd just think, How will my children be about the death of their father? Will they be able to grow into the people I hoped without me looking after them as well?

So I ask you: you face certain death within seconds. What do you think?

a) Praise be! My immortal soul is at last entering the kingdom of heaven, I will meet my saviour and eternity will be perfect, nothing else matters;

or

b) That's it. My children, my family, my friends - how will they be about this?

Please think carefully, I'm interested. There may be a c). Thanks for all answers.

I have an opportunity to get this really good job with benifits. I took the typing test, but failed. they are giving me another chance. I really need this job. I lost my job since 9/11 and been working odd jobs since. I have no health insurance and am living paycheck to paycheck, if I got this job. I would be secure. it would help pay for school and my health bills. if anyone can pray for me to pass this typing test in august, I really would apprieciate it.

It's just beautiful!

Message of July 25, 2007

"Dear children! Today, on the day of the Patron of your Parish, I call you to imitate the lives of the Saints. May they be, for you, an example and encouragement to a life of holiness. May prayer for you be like the air you breathe in and not a burden. Little children, God will reveal His love to you and you will experience the joy that you are my beloved. God will bless you and give you an abundance of grace. Thank you for having responded to my call."

*Note: The parish in Medjugorje is St. James, whose feast day is today.

He created man hoping we would turn out right, then when we didn't he drowned us all. If he can see the eternity of time laid out before him, why does he need to waste time waiting. To him there is no waiting time. Why does he have hope? He already knows the first go won't work.

The Bible says:
ALL have sinned and fallen short of God's standard.

The Good News is:
There is a remedy for sin - wrong doing.

'In my place'
All our sins were laid on Jesus, and God the Father punished Him in your place.

The Lord Jesus Christ willingly accepted, in His body on the cross, the eternal wrath and judgement that you and I deserve, so that you and I can go free.

Three days later God the Father raised His Son from the dead.

He walked the earth showing unmistakable proofs of His resurrection, then ascended into Heaven to be at the right hand of the Father.

One day He will come again, in power and great glory.

Your response -
The Bible says, that God commands 'all man everywhere to repent.' This of course, includes you!

Repent means to turn away from your sin, and live a life which is pleasing to God.

The Christian life is exciting, because when a person becomes a Christian, they step into God's plan and purpose for their lives.

I've always wondered why someone would choose to portray themselves in such a way. Are you/they evil and creepy on the inside? Do you/they like to creep out others for amusement? What is the message you/they are trying to send?

We are planning to hold our children's b-day parties from now on with a note on the invitation "monetary present is appreciated."

Guests are not obliged to give money only. I'd like to note this so guests can have an option. They can still give toys, clothes, etc as presents.

My husband thinks it makes it look like we are gold diggers. My points are: we will deposit this in our children's bank accts and I think its convenient for the giver to give money vs having to go to the store to buy what type of presents, the age of the child, will the child like this?.... and there are chances of duplication.

If you were one of my invitees, what would you think when the invitation read "monetary present is appreciated?"

That's it's ok in American society to be bigoted/hateful & racist against the White majority, & White people are just suppose to sit there & take it like a bi+ch.I don't like political correctness & multiculturalism. It makes me angry that it's ok for everyone who isn't White to identify with their race/ethnicity,
but it's racist when White people do it.To say that all cultures are equal, but White people's feelings don't matter. That you can make fun of us all you want.I don't think it's racist if you like being around people who are like you.It isn't racist to feel more comfotable around people who are like you.Yet it's called racism when White people do it.Real racism is when you hate & feel superior to people who are different then you.

I was wondering. So many rumors about his existence? Princes Di being linked to the former body guard of her's. Harry really looks more and more like Hewitt. Will he ever ask for a paternity test? Then what would that mean to his position to the throne of Britain?

Please help! I need views of people of different religions for a class project. Please leave a name and your religion with your answers to:
1. How do you feel about those who choose the path of freedom from religion? (Would you feel the desire to teach them about your religion in hopes to convert them?)
2. Some people may believe that missionaries invade on an individual’s right of freedom from/of religion. Do you agree or disagree and why?
3. Do you believe that your religion is the only correct one and that all others are wrong?
4. Do you believe your God is the one and only God for all people?
5. What do you think of the idea that there may be different religions and different Gods for different people?
6. Bottom line is… most people think that they have chosen the correct religious path in believing what they believe, so should we all just leave it alone and tolerate each others’ different views on religion? (By this, would you be disregarding religious duties in any way?

It just seems like everytime I go to a religious question, there are always tons of people just bashing into anyone that believes anything. If I went to a gay section and bashed gays, I would get tons of thumbs down and maybe a couple thumbs up. Yet if you go to some question about the bible, they are there to insult you for thinking differently then them and then give each other highs fives for making fun of you. If you click on one of their profiles, they have like 1000's of answers all in the Religion section just bashing everyone. So is this the new way to go around and hate people just to fit in with the group? Is this what the cool kids are doing in school these days.

Oh and when they go to bed at night, do they pat themselves on the back for a job well done of making fun of and insulting anyone different then them?

Oh and go ahead and play your little "drinking" game guys. Cause that game is as fake as you.
1) your not really drinking
2) You hide behind a fake name

My friend got married in a Pentecostal church. (She's divorced now). I was told that the Catholic Church does not recognise this marriage. Is this true?
(This would free her to marry her current boyfried who is Catholic.)
