Honestly, most of them are good people, just like anyone of any other faith. Unfortunately, they are letting the radicals and extremists take over their faith and allowing them to paint a tarnished image of Islam to the rest of the world. If the rest of the Muslim world would step-up and help to shut down the radicals, this would go away within a year or two, but they are scared of upsetting the radicals for fear of killing fellow Muslims.

I can attest to you that the radicals and fundamentalists are not Muslim. They follow a slanted view of their holy book, the Koran, and allow themselves to be guided by people, like Mahmoud Ahmadenijad, who are more driven by political power than religious belief.

And I do know that there are some moderate Muslims who do stand against the radicals. However, there are too few of them right now to make much of a difference.

look i am a muslim and there are some people who are trying to destroy islam under the cover of islam and they pritend that they are muslims and of course that isn't islam .
islam is a relegion that calls for peace not war and it's a relegion that calls for love and all the good and sacred principles.
and to prove what i have said you can read books about islam one century ago and you will find out that prophet mohammed manged to turn that desert into greenland and the muslims were the most advanced people in the world .
and if oyu read the history you will also find out that some but most of churches used to say that medicine is forbidden and they had that belief until the muslim scientist " abou bakr el khwarzmy " sent them a book about medicine and he succeeded in correcting their wrong belief,
look i have too much to type about muslims and there gloory in the past and all of that was thanks to following islam instructions,
and to prove that islam is also a great relegion we believe in jesus, moses and all the prophets who were sent by alla.
you also might think that islam doesn't respect the woman and all about that long issue . you only need to know that as a start islam looks after the woman .consequently, she is not allowed to put on tight clothes and to show her hair and that all for protecting her and we can name all of that castity .
and any one who want to ask me about islam i am ready to answer him all he has to do is to e-mail me and i will be so glad to reply him because islam is such a great relegion but most people do there best so that they can show islam as the relegion of terrorism and extermism .
for example , exploding the world trade center isn't from islam as well as "tanzeem el kaida"
at last i hope you really cahnge you beliefs about islam and i don't blame you if you get the wrong idea about islam from the current events that is taking place in the whole world .
i really don't want to stop typing about islam but if i spend many hours trying to tell you about islam i won't finish a little peace of it .
i am waiting for your e-mails.
thank you

I've known many Muslims. They are nice people. There are antisocial elements in every religion and don't forget that a lot of their hatred has to do with the way they were treated and bullied in their own country.

From what i know of muslims, they can be your best friends. But if you back stab them, they will turn out to be your worst nightmare. They never forget a favor.

I think Islam is a beautiful faith and that Muslims are the most kindest, generous loving people i have ever met. That is why i reverted to Islam almost 3 years ago.

I've never met a Muslim I didn't like. I've never met a religion which didn't annoy me. So I guess my opinion of Islam isn't that great--same as the others.

I am a christian.
Here is how i think of them:
As people, people have good and bad.
We should never look upon people as good or bad based on a religion. The bible says to let God be the judge. Don't judge, or you too will be judged.
Everyone chooses a faith, belief, or a religion. It doesn't make people better than each other.
How a person acts and carries themselves is the main matter.

I know enough. That although the moderate's like to claim that the Islamic Radicals are twisting the Qur'an, when in actually it is the moderate's who are twisting it and claiming that it does not advocate violence. It does, and nothing they say can change that fact, no matter how much they may want to.

I also know enough to be afraid.

The moderate's don't defend their religion vocally and in public against the radicals, and there is a reason for it, they are also afraid.

Enough said.

Except for the exploding nutballs - and that's a tiny minority - I have every respect for Islam and Muslims.

Certainly they have always fought among themselves but they could have learned that from Jews and Christians.
