That's it's ok in American society to be bigoted/hateful & racist against the White majority, & White people are just suppose to sit there & take it like a bi+ch.I don't like political correctness & multiculturalism. It makes me angry that it's ok for everyone who isn't White to identify with their race/ethnicity,
but it's racist when White people do it.To say that all cultures are equal, but White people's feelings don't matter. That you can make fun of us all you want.I don't think it's racist if you like being around people who are like you.It isn't racist to feel more comfotable around people who are like you.Yet it's called racism when White people do it.Real racism is when you hate & feel superior to people who are different then you.

Yes there are a lot of people that know this but are afraid to say anything out loud, and it is time for people of the white race to stand up and be heard, because we white Americans still have rights too.All of our rights as Americans are being taken away from us and we are the only ones that can stop it,so White Americans UNITE now before it is to late

Son, I don't know what situation made you feel that way but it's wrong. I'm not white but I can say this,
It is ok to identify with your own race. That is who you were born to be, you can't change it. Although Michael the child molester Jackson tried it.

And it is ok to feel threatened by those certain narrow minded racist from other cultures but they are not all like that.

It is not ok to do what they do. For if you do, your no better than they are. Sounds like you try and get along and that's a good thing. Don't let the real biggots control your emotions. Just show yourself a decent human being and know that you can rise above the hate and be a better person for it.

This is what the world is supposed to be about. This is what matters.

Peace!

And of course, the very act of bringing this concern up will also cause people to call you a racist. I think you make a good point. I don't have any answers unfortunately.

I was once watching an awards show and a winner said that he dedicated his award to all his Latino brothers. It didn't bother me, but I made the observation wondering what would happen if a white guy got up there and dedicated his award to all his white brothers. Granted, I understand that the audience was filled with mostly white people and most of the people in power are old white men. This means that white people don't have to call attention to themselves, because it's implied. But, there just are a lot of people that believe that white people invented racism. That's just a false statement and I don't think the race issue will get any better until we realize that it's a human attribute and ALL of us have to be included in the discussion and the solution.

I do like the multicultural movement. I think ultimately it gives us strength and will enhance our culture. I am concerned that it won't include white as one of the cultures. I say yes, push the point ALL cultures are wonderful and ALL people are capable to accepting ALL others.

Yes, most of us realize this, but once we think about it a little longer, we get over it. Here's why:

White isn't a culture. If you are proud to be Irish, or German, or whatever, you are celebrating your heritage and you won't be criticized. How do you celebrate white heritage though?--there isn't a common history there like with black americans, or an actual tie to a country or culture like with americans of korean ancestry. So if you celebrate whiteness, it is basically being separtist and setting yourself up as superior to others.

Also, a lot of what you are hearing about political correctness is from the press, when you kick around and meet some people, you'll find that black people in general don't believe in all that crap. They expect respect and give respect. You'll find the insanely racist black people calling everyone else racist in two places--college campuses and on TV. Anywhere else, black people you meet will usually have enough sense to realize that we are all people.

Well some of that is true. But things move like a pendulum, 10 years ago was the great african american atonement (it still goes on). Today is the great female and gay atonement. In 10 years (or less) it´ll be latin american. So you see, the big bad white guy was responsible for all the horrors and was hung high for all the sins perpetrated since the invention of warfare.
But hey, really, being tolerant is much better. Everyone´s a human and should be dignified enough not to make the pendulum swing right back too far. Don´t you think?

Yes, I've noticed these things. It started because the white European ancestry people were in control of the country and those who were moving in new or the blacks (who really had been used badly) saw themselves as underdogs. The reaction is normal. The problem is that it has continued beyond it's usefulness, because there are a lot of people who make money and gain power and influence through continually stirring up strife between us.

As for multi-culturalism, I have worked in the school system in America for a few years, and I have lived out of the U.S. for half my life. Multi-culturalism is a mistaken idea and children are being taught it before they even have their own cultural identity. I have worked with the refugee children and Hispanic immigrant children, and they are like children without a culture, and all because of the mistaken notions about cultures and how to deal with our differences.

The schools work on theory and the government works on theory. They never notice that in most schools, white hang with white, black with black, Hispanic with Hispanic, and the the exchange students with other foreign students--and that the cross-overs are generally fringe kids socially.

You notice quite a bit.

That is comepletely true. My mother and I still talk about this all the time. I feel more comfortable around white people, but I am not racist. I have or have had many different friends of different races, but I tend to make friends with more white people, just like black people usually make more friends with black people.

But I am not saying that they are racist.

you guys are suffering for what your ancestors did. and sure, it probably sucks. But while you are upset over emotions, feelings, being politically correct, etc. Imagine being chased by dogs, hosed down, spit on, beat up? Or how about lynched, tied to train tracks, whipped? Or how about watching your wife get raped, having your family taken from you, seeing someone you love get shot in the head? Or how about going to a major university and receiving racist death threats at your dorm door? Or how about getting your degree, being a model citizen, and still getting turned down from jobs you are more than qualified for and being treated like a criminal by the police all of the time? And then imagine people telling you racism doesn't exist, that it's all in your head, that what's happened to you had nothing to do with race, that maybe it's just you? Imagine working hard, speaking eloquently, being an honest, good person and still being grouped as a "stupid, lazy, ******?" I WISH I was in your shoes! Who cares if people think you are racist? You do not live in the ghetto and you probably own the computer you're typing on. Yeah, alot of blacks are doing better now. But not because of affirmative action or any other "sympathy law." It's because we're working our asses off! Oprah, Colin Powell, Condoleeza Rice, Denzel Washington, Halle Berry, Maya Angelou, Venus and Serena, Tiger Woods, Sean Diddy Combs, and the whole NBA did not make it off of affirmative action. They bust their asses, educated themselves, and showcased their talents! But imagine living in a country that won't recognize that and thinks all you got were a bunch of handouts and will never show true empathy for what your grandparents had to go through. Fux what you heard, slavery ended in the 1980's! What you are FEELing is reasonable, understandable, and human. But PLEASE stop being selfish and be thankful for what you are NOT having to FEEL.

Being Racist is wrong coming from the left or the right. Just because somebody rob your house, you don't go and rob his. And the reason is because you are not a criminal like him and your behavior is different and you are going to do your best to stay different so the society call you decent.. Well is the same thing.

Welcome to the culture of diversity worship. It's particularly awful in university settings. I believe it was founded in liberal (i.e. positive and progressive) ideals. Equality is a great idea and really the only way to do anything, but the program was hijacked and spun out of control by the wackos suffering from hyper-altruistic guild syndrome (HAGS) and rich white girl syndrome (RWGS).
