I got a friend who is one of those and I always thought he was atheist.

He never mentioned any kind of church, as a matter of fact he refuses to be associated with any church, even when he was still christian

Many of us are atheists, but we have a genuine compassion for humanity and the improvement thereof. We generally believe humanity can transcend it's current hostile and impoverished conditions, if enough people were to do what they can in their own sphere of influence to make a difference.
