Italy is my very first love. I am a world traveler, and have been fortunate enough to be a part of many places, their culture and traditions. Italy is my favorite, because it isn't only their history and architecture that keep calling to me, but also their spirit for living life to its fullest. Italians know how to be happy. And that is irresistible.

Italy is a beautiful country indeed, if only Italians could be more polite and less arrogant....;)...No offence: I was born there, and I love Italy, I'm just being objective;)

I went there two summers ago. It is absolutely beautiful! However, like everywhere I guess, they definitely have their share of rude people. We noticed this as soon as we got off the plane. The guy stamping our passports yelled out "Stupid Americans!" every time he slammed the stamp down. Also, some of them would say something about us in Italian...funny thing is that my step-dad was born & raised there & speaks fluent Italian. You should have seen their faces when he responded & cussed them out in Italian! That was funny!!! On the flip side, we also met some very nice, hospitable people. The history & architecture is breathtaking & the food is absolutely wonderful! Gelatto is amazing!!!
