sorry i dont mean to offend to everybody ok so there are so many different religions like some people say you have to choose right religion or be judged by God then go to hell ... so many different religions, different faiths and different name of God ,etc etc etc so i need your opnions.......

Since many people have *reported* having been abducted by aliens, can we discount the possibility altogether- chalk it up to mass psychosis, thanks to tv., & media influence- or could it be a fact that aliens do abduct people . . . ?

What are the spiritual ramifications of something like alien abductions actually taking place, cross-culturally and to people of every religion/non-religion?

And if you think alien abductions are a reality, why? If you don't think they are, why not?

Is the prospect ludicrous, and not even worthy of serious investigation, or should people stay open-minded about the possibility?

don't get me wrong I love x-mas but x-mas is a christian holiday and same with easter
why does the goverment consider these to be holidays
if there is suposed to be a seperation fo church and state
the banks should be open
all goverment offices should be open
why are they closed?

Why is it everyone in the united states and in some other parts of the world, where we are supposedly free, seem to have to press their religious beliefs into our government. This is freedom of religion, not freedom to believe in christianity. Why can't all you christians just believe in peace and leave the rest of the world alone. Stop trying to ban gay marriages, stop trying to ban drinking, cirgarretts, tattoos, marijuana, and everything else that is supposedly bad for you. I thought this was the land of the free. So my question is why do people try and govern everyone else in the us by their religious beleifs?

They were atheist or agnostic free-thinkers but how can people who do so much for humanity be damned to hell? Maybe there is no hell and if people only do good things for a reward or because they fear punishment then is that crazy?

Like my family is Christian, we get together on Christmas to exchange gifts and have dinner , but that's about all. They don't decorate all out like they used to, they've even gone from a ceiling-high tree to a two foot fiber optic tree. None of them celebrate Easter except at my young cousins' houses. And my family used to go ll out. Lights all over the property, Easter eggs, etc. When I started growing up and losing interest, my whole immediate family tapered off on celebrations until they're almost non-existent. Anyone else experienced this?

No one can possibly believe that all of the catholic people on the plant are evil. I dont see how anyone could believe that about any religion/belief. Not all of the questions, but many of the catholic bashing ones are hurtfull to me. Its mostly the ones that generlize. I admit, and so do all catholics, on what wrongs happen. We dont worship mary, but that wont change peoples minds (they seem to know more about my faith then I do) and we dont worship saints. So why bash the faith? Is it to hurt the followers or do people really think that by posting on Y!A that catholics are bad no one will join the church?
