I was at Hairspray (great btw) and these girls sat next to me and my boyfriend because we were cuddled up and when we started making out they very loudly whispered "oh my god that so hot!"
What I'm asking is, why do the girls like that?

I know that I like boys who aren't stupid and macho. Gay boys often don't seem to feel the need to be stupid in that way, though I have met a few who are horrible gossips. Like those mean girls in the movies. I don't like that much either.
I don't generally like public displays of affection, but I have thought it cute on a few occasions, mostly when cute people were involved. There were some cute gay boys at my school.
That's the other thing.. though it is kinda the same thing. Gay boys just generally seem to take better care of themselves, visually at least.
'Course, I am pretty gay myself. There was a gay boy last year who caught my eye because I literally could not tell his gender at first glance. That amused me.
And also, I don't know.

First of all, straight females like to hang around with gay males because they do not find you intimidating to their sexuality. And they can have a good time with you and you will not "hit"on them. So they are comfortable around you.
As for the sexual activity you and your boyfriend displayed, It is just like straight guys watching two girls make out. It is a turn on.

I'd be willing to bet it's because these are some very young girls getting off to some voyeurism because that's the oh-so-trendy way to be these days. I notice you said they were "girls", NOT "women" - that's why. If they were adults, I'll bet they wouldn't have been so amused by the spectacle. The thought of two guys swapping spit sounds rather nauseating to me; but then, I'm a grown-up!
