Atheists do not believe God exists. They do not believe in his rules and they cope with it just fine. However some may cry if you tell them the FSM (flying spaghetti monster) is false.

And what rules would they been, then?
The big ten?
Most were about worshiping an insecure little invisible sky critter, a couple were about killing and stealing - quite common in ALL cultures and the Coveting ones fly in the face of Capitalism. How are companies gonna make money unless everyone wants what everyone else has?
By the way, I doubt you're an Atheist; your way of getting round saying you were an Atheist was to spell it incorrectly.
Far too obvious - hard to cross your fingers and type, eh?
How do I cope?
I find obeying the laws of Western Society saves me a lot of stress; if I don't rape and pillage my neighbour then my neighbour probably won't rape and pillage me.
As I mentioned, societies have had these laws for more than a coupla thousand years in India and China; long before the US was even conceived.
Yes, civilisation was happening long before US existed. Amazing? I know. Who'd a thunk that, eh?

Atheist, not 'athiest'.
All gods are myths, and the rules attributed to gods are really rules that religious societies have imposed on the members of the societies.
The 10 commandments of the Bible are ludicrous. Why is "Make no graven images" a commandment, but "Care for your children" is not? And why would an all powerful and loving god be so unjust as to punish four generations of children for the "iniquities" of the parent generation?
And the 10 commandments are almost reasonable compared to the rest of the laws of the Old Testament. There are particularly vile laws that require you to stone to people to death for minor crimes, such as working on the 'sabbath'. Newly married men are allowed to stone to death their wife on her father's doorstep if she is discovered to not be a virgin. There are many examples like this of truly vile and immoral laws. Anyone who sincerely believes that there is a god who made these laws and is worthy of worship and love has a very twisted sense of morality.

Do you mean how I feel when others talk about God and 'the rules' and such? I get kind of angry. I know they mean well, but it feels like they're shoving their beliefs down my throat! I just believe that Christianity and most religions get in the way of what people really want and desire. As I got older, I just started believing God was fake.

Which gods?
Never had any problems with the Norse Gods. I think they are pretty awesome. If I ever went back to a religion I would be an Asatruar again. But I cannot force myself to believe in any gods.

I do not believe god exist, therefore I do not believe that laws from any religion are that of God. I do believe they are from men. I think modern first world countries have done a pretty good job of keeping the ones that are relevant and those that aren't.

If you mean the Judeo-Christian God then I consider him to be as contemptible as any other fairytale villain. As for his rules, they're merely the values of the societies in which they were written. Anyone who chooses to follow them today over the values of their own society is a lunatic.

God's rules change every generation, so I never give them much thought. I mean, God gave humans rules on how to treat slaves, so God isn't exactly batting 1.000 when it comes to morality.
Socital norms and mores are what determine the 'rules'.

Mostl;y I simply ignore them and live my own life. It is only when they start trying to interfere with my life that I become active. Trying to take over the government and making their religious rules law is one of the places I regard them as interfering with my life.

I don't feel anything about God - he doesn't exist in my world. Therefore, his "rules" don't apply - and I have nothing to cope with.
