How well do you think Native American organizations, like the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI), and the National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA), are helping Native Americans to advance? Explain your answer. If anything, what are organizations like these doing to mitigate tribal poverty, and encourage prosperity?

This goes to all Christians who don't think the "forbidden fruit" was an apple.

Why is the lump in your throat over the voice-box called "Adam's APPLE" if it was a different kind of fruit?

Is "Adam's forbidden fruit" just too long of a name?

When I was a kid, I used to hear so called grown ups trying to scare us kids by saying if we lied or did something sacreligious that god would strike us down with lightning. Well, I'm still sacreligious, but I don't hold metal rods during a storm.

So when will god see fit to strike me down. What kinds of signs should I be on the lookout for?

Why do we gratify creationists with an answer to their silly uninformed questions about what they think evolution is?

The other day, someone answered a big bang theory question with "this is established science- next question please"...

This answer places NO importance upon the originial question- it simply tells the questioner that their question is not worth our time-

What do you think?

star if you agree?

RENO, Nev. - A couple who authorities say were so obsessed with the Internet and video games that they left their babies starving and suffering other health problems have pleaded guilty to child neglect.

The children of Michael and Iana Straw, a boy age 22 months and a girl age 11 months, were severely malnourished and near death last month when doctors saw them after social workers took them to a hospital, authorities said. Both children are doing well and gaining weight in foster care, prosecutor Kelli Ann Viloria told the Reno Gazette-Journal.

Michael Straw, 25, and Iana Straw, 23, pleaded guilty Friday to two counts each of child neglect. Each faces a maximum 12-year prison sentence.

would you take the risk to change water into wine even though you know you could be lapidated for sorcery at someone else wedding? or at your own for your guests and followers in a partly secret double wedding?

I just read in the news today that the Catholic church apologized for all of the child molestation cases and paid a record $666 million dollar settlement fee to all of the victims.
They also turned over records of abuse cases from within the church. Did Jehovah's witnesses ever apoligize to the victims and turn over names in their database full of child molesters they kept from the police? Or are they still covering it up and refusing to take responsibility?

Is ebonics helping black people develop their own culture or is it hampering them socially. I am a business owner and whether its right or wrong if ANYBODY came in and said "yo yo my homeboy i think i could increase your gross margin by 10% dawg" i would not hire them. They could have a double doctorate but if they can't speak professional English then they arent hired. I know that black people are and have developped a rich culture in america. They have inspired jazz, rap and alot of aspect of rock and roll but when it comes to bastardising a language to the point that it is almost a different dialect? Then they expect you to respect their intellegence?

PS White guys who talk like this are just as stupid so don't this this is a slam on blacks. I am just slamming a poor excuse for english and the people who speak in it incessantly

Getting lumped in with Satanists as in “Witches and Satanists, blah, blah balh.”

Or

Getting lumped in with Christians?

Or

Getting lumped in with fluffies.

I realize that these generalizations come out of ignorance.

I also realize that there are many different sects within Neo-paganism that do not use the title Witch.

See I know enough to indeed be dangerous. ;-)
