This goes to all Christians who don't think the "forbidden fruit" was an apple.

Why is the lump in your throat over the voice-box called "Adam's APPLE" if it was a different kind of fruit?

Is "Adam's forbidden fruit" just too long of a name?

Wow, I never thought of it like that! Good Point! But I always believed that the forbidden fruit was an apple anyway. So did the people who made Snow White.

Adams forbidden fruit...

Whether it was an apple, pear, peach or plum, passion fruit or pineapple, pluot or apricot .... does it really matter?

Regardless of the exact fruit it was forbidden. It was eaten and Adam fell that man may be.

End of story .... or was it the beginning?

The slight projection at the front of the throat formed by the largest cartilage of the larynx, usually more prominent in men than in women.

[Ultimately translation of French pomme d'Adam, pomegranate, Adam's apple (sense influenced by Arabic rummāna, pomegranate, Adam's apple) : pomme, apple + de, of + Adam, Adam.]

But who really cares...lol

Good question... however back in the day when medicine was more of a trial and error instead of a practice... it was tied very closly to the church. Also as humans... we created the language and the choice of words... not god.
