I am quoting out of a religious encyclopedia here called "Aid to Bible Understanding". It says The Greek term basically means injurious, defamatory or abusive speech and was used with reference to such speech whether directed against God or against humans. The English word blasphemy, however, is usually restricted to irreverent or abusive speech against God and sacred things. Blasphemy includes the act of claiming the attributes or prerogative of God, or ascribing these to another person or thing. Therefore the Jewish religious leaders in Jesus time were guilty according to Jesus of Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. They clearly saw God's spirit at work in Jesus to accomplish good, yet for selfish reasons they attributed this power to Beelzebub, Satan the Devil, thereby blaspheming God's holy spirit. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is the unforgivable sin. This blasphemy is not a result of deception, human weakness or imperfection, but doing so knowingly, WILLFULLY and debilerately. If a person has heartfelt sorrow over the things he/she has done and is seeking God's forgiveness it is more than likely his sin was caused through human weakness not a deliberate vengeful act against God. Hope this helps

Blaspheme is when you say God is not God. There are many ways of doing this. Sorry I won't give an example.
Read the gospel accounts and see how often the Pharisees accused Jesus of blasphemy because they didn't believe He was God. Or didn't want to believe. They were not willing and their punishment is/was greater than others.

Pretty much to insult God.
To say that any of His good deeds are evil or wicked, or to insult anything Holy or sacred.
